Basically. And assuming the floor selection is like old Nyzul, you'll see a free floor maybe once every 5 runs (i.e. maybe 1/30 - 1/50 floors). So yeah you're talking some insanely low planetary and celestial alignment type of scenario to get to F100 without any "tricks."

I don't think that'd be it as there really is no progression in the new Nyzul. You could get a pretty high cleared disc in just a couple of runs. Worth checking out, I guess.

Data up to and including floor 40 has been recorded on your runic disc. ?? I've a floor 100 disc.

When we went from 1-40 the first time, that message never appeared. Perhaps it's because we killed floor 20's boss aswell on the same run?

There's so much pointless nonsense in the game that I don't think the fact that it records discs necessarily means anything. Maybe it's just a programming remnant from the copy/paste they did creating the new Nyzul? I don't really know. Like I said, worth checking out, but I'm thinking our princess (if she exists) is in another castle.

Edit: I would laugh so hard if the new floor recorded is overwriting the old floor recorded from original Nyzul.

It didn't record any for me(was leader), but the NPC tells me I have Nyzul Isle Uncharted recorded up to level 100. So it either does nothing at all or SE messed it up.

The fact that the npc has a message relating to your floor clears for the new nyzul should mean something.

Based on what we've seen so far, every boss except F100 is a troll whether it is a troll or not.

They forced 100-clears for everyone on the test server and I still never saw a 9-floor jump like I saw tonight.

My mule has only floor 5 on old nyzul and npc says recorded up to floor 100 on new nyzul. Think its just a fill in the blank instead of getting rid of the text option kind of thing since SE is pretty lazy.

floor1 -> eliminates all
floor9 -> free floor \o/
floor18 -> lamps register | White magic unable |
floor23 -> family Psycheflyer x5 (the hardest part really :/)
floor31 -> eliminates All | Refresh effect +20 mp/tic |
floor40 -> Boss Medusa, pretty easy... dropped Euxine Hat +1 and Euxine Gloves +1

we finished with like 1 min remaining, we'v been lucky on free floor and the floor 31 to 40 in one time

We just got the mage cuffs +2 off the level 60 boss. Looks very likely that the NQ/HQ1/HQ2/HQ3/HQ4 pattern is accurate. I'll expand this post with more details in a sec.

Floor 7: Specified Enemy
Floor 14: Enemy Leader, Mad Miner Boboroon - THF mob, very high evasion and he walks around dropping bombs instead of really fighting you.
Floor 18: Kill all, Numbing Norman
Floor 23: Specified Enemy
Floor 29: Kill all (dragons)
Floor 38: All touch
Floor 39: Family = Racing Chariots (I don't know the type), Yal-un Eke, Sekmeht
Floor 40: Boss = Stealthlord Haraal Ja, Decussate for AoE damage in addition to Tyrranic Blare and Vorpal Wheel :: dropped Cotton pouch and the WAR/SAM/etc head +1
Floor 49: Specified Enemy, Skull of Pride
Floor 51: Lamps Order, Skull of Lust
Floor 60: Boss = Stheno still, used Pinning Shot this time in addition to her petrify moves (AoE, took two shadows). :: dropped Cotton pouch and the WHM/SMN/etc hands +2

Also, I'd have to say in Byrth's run, if continued to get the same luck with floors, you might have been able to get to 80 if you kept advancing randomly at 38. I'm grasping at straws here trying to find some hope in this event, lol.

I don't think F100 is actually going to be that hard to get to, but it will take luck in Floors and Objectives. And it will require flee/wall hacking and good players.

Our party was p.much as good as it could get and we tore through the floors, just got 3 lamps but did get lucky on floor jumps

Just did a second run

1->10->something->17->25->32->35->40

40 = Medus Boss, Stheno or whatever, dropped nothing at all (very easy though).

40->43->52

Exited with 900 or so tokens. Nyzul Isle NPC tells me I have floor 100 in investigation, and floor 52 in Uncharted regions.
