The Cribs is really the only name on that lineup that I'd kill to see. I've been trying to see them live for the past 8 years, and every time something happens and I can't make the show.

Man, Aura music fest was so incredible. Awesome music and the environment & vibes were just so positive...was beautiful. Papadosio, Brothers Past, Zoogma, Dopapod...all so amazing live (all progressive rock/electronic fusion...each set is just one long "song" basically). Can't wait till my next festival...thinking Purple Hatters Ball at the Suwannee River Music Park. Small fest but the venue is apparently awesome and its dirt cheap @ $45-60 for three days of camping and decent music.
And good lord is it easy to get laid and find drugs...i was in heaven. Acid and molly are too much fun.
Beats Antique and Papadosio were just added to the Electric Forest lineup so...that pretty much has to happen. Best lineup of the US summer fests imo. The only question is do I wanna try and do Wakarusa as well.
connecticut never has any fests =(

i am very excite for lollerpaloopsa
There isn't a nice lil lineup pic to post but just clicky http://www.freepresssummerfest.com/lineup.php
Fitz and the Tantrums + Turqoise Jeep alone would be enough for me to go, but there is sooooo much more.
Got my ticket for this already: http://www.starscapefestival.com/
Don't really have the cash to go to Lolla or 'Roo this year, which sucks. Definitely want to see Radiohead at Bonnaroo again, and Lolla has a pretty solid lineup even if I've seen half of the artists on it in the past year (one of the local bands here in NC is playing there this year too, which is pretty cool).
This morning it was announced that Jay Z will be headlining and curating a festival in Philly over labor day weekend. Anxious to see what that line up is like. Solid chance I will go since its only a 2 hour drive
also want to fuck with this since it is nearby http://50.22.11.19/~thebronx/wp-cont...4/Firefly2.jpg
chicago, how i hate you...sooooo much

^saw that this morning, anxious to see who else gets announced. Groupon already sold out a deal on tix this morning. If I were not lolla'ing I would def be Rioting.
Riot Fest is great, but it's three days across like five venues, and they always manage to put one band I really want to see on a different day from the other one I want to. Going to go see whatever night Slapstick is playing in memory of a friend that passed.
Also our great summer music festival lineup is a tradeoff in that many large tours skip us because the festival forces them to or they figure they'll just be here in the summer. Got the email for Warped a bit ago, not sure if I recognized a single goddamn band on the lost, I'm getting old
ahah just this morning i was thinking the same thing about warped. UGH
for hartford, i see bayside, new found glory, taking back sunday, and yellowcard that id wanna see (for warped). only heard of like 2 or 3 others
I saw them on there but I haven't been into any of those bands since like 2002, the only one coming to Chicago that I really want to see is Polar Bear Club, but I'm not going to pay Warped prices for one band's set and a full day of 95 degree heat and getting pissed of at high schoolers who don't know how to work a pit watching bands that I was listening to when they were on third grade, lol. I'd have to bring my own lawn so I'd have something to tell them to get off of.
i never saw 3 of the 4, and tbs is back to what it was when they were good (tell all ur friends) so id wanna see those bands
I wish the people who booked MDF would come up here and give some lessons to the people who book the New England Metalfest, which has been an utter joke for the last half-decade-plus. MDF seems to be overflowing with quality acts year after year, but something always intereferes so I can't go
Of course for me it's moot, but out of all the headliners in that lineup, it kills me to say it, but Morbid Angel is probably the only one I can't get excited about at all. If they ditched Vincent and swore off ever playing anything off of I, I'd probably be able to forgive the last several years of greatest hits tours and that utter abortion of an album.
