I love Hardpoint, but it can get a little frustrating when you end up on a pickup team (as I always do, my friends are garbage and if they are on the Box they are on Netflix...) and your team seems to be completely OBLIVIOUS to the point of the mode. WHY ARE YOU RUNNING AWAY FROM THE HARDPOINT!? Add to that the fact that the other team are playing smart and sending people to the next HP early and well... losing 243 to 14 is never a good time.

Still love it though, when it is at least a good, closely contested match.

i've never boosted before but this shit has pissed me off to the point where i am very much considering doing just that. coming head to head with someone with a gun is almost always death, and i can't even always land bolts on people who haven't even noticed me but are running away

What kind of kits are people using with Skorpion? Right now I'm using the Skorpion + Long Barrel + Foregrip, Blind Eye, Scavenge, Engineer, Danger Close + double Bouncing Betties, and rocket launcher to take down UAVs asap. Anyone have any better set ups/recommendations?

If my memory serves... I was using it with stock + quick draw grip. Ghost/Blind eye + Scavenger/Cold Blooded + Bouncing Betty.

Wildcards were perks 1 & 2 greed. That add up right? No secondary, that combat knife is too nice and with Ghost I was able to dump the launcher.

Sometimes I would ditch Perk 2 greed and swap in Hardline for Blind Eye and add Extreme Conditioning.

Sounds about where I was going to head to when I hit 55. Still debating my two attachments, but once I get into a groove I have a hard time swapping out and I've had some decent success with the long barrel and foregrip (stock? it's whatever the accuracy boosting one is). Does the combat knife do something extra that I'm unaware of? I knew it existed, but that's about it since I consistently roll with a launcher to dump UAVs.

How useful is Hardline btw? I used to run it all the time but stopped when I unlocked Ghost...

Stock is the one that let's you move much faster while ADS. It is awesome with Ghost as you are still fast enough to stay ghosted. Long Barrel is range. Fore Grip would be accuracy. I forget the other grip that adds quick draw essentially which I use solely to counter the lag compensation madness.

As for Combat Knife it has an actual R1 attack that is reminiscent of the old, stupid, far reaching lunge from MW3.

Hardline is so so. I just like it for Hardpoint. Killstreaks forever.

Not able to get on today, but is it true they removed Nuketown?

I pre-ordered this game on the PS3 and Xbox for Nuketown. Planned to play PS3 at home when people came over and xbox with all my friends that own X-box.

Got my ps3 version on launch day but my xbox version is slated to arrive on the 25th. Despite fucking pre-ordering the game. So it seems I preodered the game for nuketown and they are taking it down before I even get the game. My my that was very much worth doing.

CTF is probably the most fun in this version, plus it's the only high point/fast paced/Hardcore game mode.

If Hardpoint was moved up to HC, then it might be better.

I apologize for shitting up the thread but i have to ask, Is Black Ops 2 worth getting for the PC? I ask because of past problems with the amount of hacking and cheating. I have an xbox but it is pretty much a paper weight since i upgraded my computer.

They fucked up Gun Game:

1) They show everyone on the map, instead of just when shoots.

2) person in lead not golden on map

3) can enter an all ready in progress gun game. Not such a bad thing except when you enter when someone's 11-19/20. C'mon. Not even worth it at that point.

4) Shot gun 1 and 2 are fucking terrible shit tier. (Guns 3 and 4) They don't have ANY range, and you have to be dead locked on for it to hit. Fix that shit, please.

5) Gun 5 is just what the fuck anyway. Like, really. It's a 3-round burst type and and JERKS like mad. It's weird... If this is so futuristic then why ain't your shit better, future?

6) Crossbow pretty much has to stick someone to kill them. In BO1 at least you could shoot at the ground and if person is near, they got killed...

7) Scoreboard doesn't show who is on what gun. This is the most frustrating as I hate not being able to see if someone is actually on ballistics or not...
