Aquarion EVOL 2nd cour - 15
Quietly, this is one of the higher quality shows of 2012.
Really good. I look forward to it every week.
Jormungand 01
No, not the HNM.
Great. It's Darker than Black crossed with Black Lagoon.

Rofl I was thinking the same exact thing about Jourmangand
I heard Jorm has about a 7 day respawn timer and had a pretty random window when it will pop. Need to camp the torrent sites and spam refresh to make sure you can claim it before anyone else.
Only jokes that we would get.
Does it drop a tsundere that occasionally hates you 2-3 times?
Jormungand looking to be good, gotta love the ecchi in the intro also! (´¬`)
Haiyore! Nyaruko-san is a interesting anime... the girl really likes the guy... but she's apparently cthulhu? ( ゚Д゚) what is this I don't even
oh god I randomly downloaded anime from usenet on friday and it was all shit. Time to start searching this thread because waiting a week between Lupin eps is too horrible.
Wait so is she a trap or not?
tentacle monster...! thats as much as I know atm... but since... I didn't notice anything strange while she was completely nude running around in the bathroom... (´¬`)
Kore wa Zombie desu ka of the Dead 1: Ayumu is so fucked. Looks like his harem is going to expand this season as well. The OST was great too, forgot how awesome the music is for this show.
I made the mistake of watching ep 1 of Sengoku Collection.
Worst trite, cliched bullshit I've ever seen. They had every cliche in the book just in ep 1 EXCEPT the girl falling from the sky and landing on the guy (she landed somewhere else). The animation is utter shit (oh Brains Base, how far you have fallen). The plot...even if we were to forgive everyone in the sengoku period being women, there are still so many things wrong that can't be justified, not even a little bit. The only remotely interesting part was a Penguindrum penguin cameo face on a poster in a konbini.
No, I didn't expect this show to be good, but I didn't expect it to be THIS bad.
Shame, you should have.
Sakamichi no Apollo Ep1
This was incredible. This show has the kind of whimsical quality you'd expect of a movie, and I can't complain about a thing. Even just judging from the start it seems to have all the makings of a classic. It's one of those anime you can't even say much about, because the only way you can put it into words is "Well, that was AWESOME."
PS the soundtrack is hands down Amazing.
Akibaranger Ep 1(recommend to me)
This mock-sentai is hilarious. It's a parody of sentai with a typical aging otaku, a tsundere who's a secret otaku, and They transform with a loli figurine. Yeah, the show is pretty awesome.
Eureka Seven Astral Ocean Ep1
Good stuff, I like the unusual atmosphere it has and quailty animation you'd expect from Studio Bones, Seriously even though this is a TV anime they have definitely surpassed the fluidity of animation and level of detail that was seen in anime films. the story is pretty cliche but AO strikes the balance between audience insert and personality well, the secondary cast seems fun and the general pacing seems to be good, it has the promise to be a great show.
Spoiler: show
Sankarea Ep 2
I find it funny, Studio Deen succeed in creating a Shaft style show thanks largely to staff on board while Gainax failing miserably with Medaka Box.
Glad you liked Akibaranger. The wait for the series was well worth it.
But this wasn't on EVOL
The fuck you doing, bitch?
Thursdays are going to spoil me. While the last couple of seasons had shows spread out, I get to watch the new episode of Sket Dance, Naruto (when the fillers are over), and now shows like Lupin, Sakamichi no Apollon, Tsuritama and Eureka Seven AO.
I have high expectations from ESAO as the original series is probably one of my all time favourites. But if anyone hasn't seen Sakamichi or Tsuritama, definitely check them out. Sakamichi fills another void for me, a new music show. I haven't had a good one since Beck way back when, and the first episode of this one was great. Tsuritama is just... bizarre so far, but in a funny and artsy way. I really liked it
