any suggestions where i can get this on any decent discount?
Looks like you can get it for about $37-40 on the cd key selling sites.
Finally finished my snapmap, I spent like six hours making it, so if you guys don't like it, fuck you.

It's my first map, I was mostly just seeing how things worked, tried to make it a horror level of sorts.
A few of the gaming sites have reported on it, but a dude has straight up made a MOBA with Snapmap

First level of Doom (a demo) to be free on all platforms later tonight.
Just have to comment on this since I finally made the time to pick up and play through the single-player campaign: it's *excellent*. The pacing is great, it's all run-and-gun with brief interludes and all the story you want, or none of it if you prefer. The boss fights are crazy and, at least on Ultra Violence, there's sometimes an overwhelming number of enemies coming at you at once. The game very effectively mixes small trash mobs with the bigger ones and can be very tough in places.
I haven't touched multiplayer or SnapMap at all yet, but plan to soon.
No doubt a great buy for the campaign alone.
Deathmatch & Private Matches finally added

VFR for Vive
There was a deal recently through redbox where you could buy doom for ps4 or xbox for $5, along with a few other games. I took the bait... been a while since i last played and this time on ps4 (i have a ps4 pro but no 4k tv because derp). Still such a rush to play, I'll need to try higher difficulty now that i'm somewhat used to controller-fps play again. Not sure if i want to take the plunge on a psvr, but at least doom vr looks pretty cool. Gonna wait until it's cheaper heh.
Also, I played this in 1969:
4k Resolution coming March 29th
