I totally thought I was going to be super smart and call them 'goggles' thinking that moggles was the normal term, and 5 minutes later I realized goggles were actual things. Yeah.
I would totally buy them if they look like Geordi's visor... >.>

Except when they become just another way to bombard you with ads...
So it does everything my phone already does, cept I look like a retard, and not awesome like Geordi. Gotcha. Kerb, did your scorpions die or something? You haven't shared pictures of them and their club in awhile.
Do people really forget google is an ADVERTISING company? http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2011/...venue-sources/
Google is an all things world domination company, and don't you ever forget it. Advertising is just how they pay for all the important shit.
Just because Google makes money advertising does not mean they bombard you with ads on every platform they offer a service through. The vast majority of Google products are ad free because they provide a value of obtaining information about a user and building consumer confidence in Google products. Small unobtrusive ads on things like Gmail and Search are successful because they know so much about you through not only their products but any activity on literally any page that makes a request to doubleclick. It's the same reason Facebook ads are as, if not more, valuable. The knowledge they build about you through you using their system provides a much better way to target ads.
That having been said, it should become obvious why having something you interface with naturally on a much more frequent basis would be of value to Google and its goals.
I, for one,
