Nope. I grew up in the hood too and that's still ~70 minutes with unnecessary buildup. It was perfectly fine in DB Kai timing wise that still made it feel epic without making it feel unnecessarily drawn out.

My understanding is that DBZ is very, very popular in the "hood," and that Goku and Vegeta, at least, have been granted "real nigga" status. This is second-hand information, but it seems pervasive enough to be accurate.

Goku: "For 5 minutes. And considering he beat you to a pulp earlier in under 1 ... ah well I'm sure you can handle it!"
