In the Biggest expansion to date, ESO will be adding Morrowind to the game. All of the major points of interest from Elder Scrolls III are included such as Vvardenfell, to to the Seyda Neen to the Ashlands to Vivec City and many other iconic locations.
In addition, new players will be able to start playing ESO right out the gate in Morrowind and will be able to journey from 1-50 without being forced to complete previous Elder Scrolls content. However, the original ESO game is included in the price of the expansion so players will be able to go beyond Morrowind for even more game play.
Also included in the new expansion :
A new class "The Warden" - a spell casting pet class.
A new raid
PvP Battlegrounds. These are 4v4v4 arena-like enviornments in the Ashlands.
Expansion Launches June 6th.

I've tried to play this again and it's ok but I know like no one so it's amazingly boring without people to play with.
Was conned into playing this game by my friends.
I'm level 6 Dragonknight of some kind. How do, what do? I guess I'm a tank.
You can do whatever, it has some abilities that lean toward tanking but you're not stuck tanking if you don't want to or haven't leveled up the right skills. Sword/shield and 2handed have nice skills for this, along with heavy armor, but you can just as well use fire staff and light armor to caster it up as DK I think has fire dmg enhancement abilities and stuff (races have different passive buffs too). You make the job yourself until you decide you want to really min/max shit for whatever thing you're doing. You can buy skill point resets a little later on to better customize yourself but just try everything and level up whatever looks good.
Get into crafting/gathering early so you can have enough materials to make stuff for crafting exp. Inventory will be tight until you buy more space, which will get expensive, but make crap and sell as much as you can. Join a guild that has a rented merchant, lets you sell to others like a market board (there's almost always a market for the materials you can just pick up randomly as you run around the maps). Stealing can also be good with a bit of luck (there's fences to sell stolen crap to), though don't get too down if you die a few times doing it.
Just relax and play it like you would any other elder scrolls game until you get comfortable with the flow of things.
I have been selling literally everything I picked up. I'll stop that.
Player housing is in. I have no money for anything though.
I'll admit this game has grown on me. I'm pretty much just playing MSQ and mucking around with crafting and it's pretty satisfying.
The daily dungeon being pretty much a free level is nice and paces things well.
I still have no idea what I'm doing but it's certainly fun.
Horns of the Reach and Clockwork City DLC announced
That 75GB download stopped me cold. Should have got the game when it first came out.
Damn, I hate comcast, but I miss the high download speeds.
Planning to start my ESO adventure? And helpful guides/tutorials etc for a complete beginner?
Or still any active players around?
