Took a month+ off of drinking and my tolerance went... up?
I thought it went down since at Sakuracon I got pretty fucked up, but turns out it's because I was also smoking/cross faded (I only do weed when I go to Washington since I'm like "it's legal here. Why not?"
Got to GA the following week and couldn't get drunk at all (while it was only wine (and like 17-20% alcohol drinks), drank a whole bottle solo). Then I picked up a handle of fireball for the bus ride home from GA back to FL and drank 3/4th the handle over the duration of the ride and never got further than a (strong) buzz.
Drinking 3/4 a handle of Fireball on a bus ride home is pretty fail man. I can only imagine the looks from the uppity whites as you sipped the devil's cinnamon.
I mean it was well camouflaged. Most people, if not, all of them, didn't even know I was drinking. Was in pomegranate drink bottle and 50/50 (thought he water bottle was 100% fireball)
Would take a big gulp of the water bottle, then wash w/ the 50/50
Missed my left turn green light due to an ambulance crossing the intersection. Made me 8 minutes late to work. HOW DARE PEOPLE HAVE EMERGENCIES.
Walked into work - our main program we use for everything client related was down. Didn't get back up until an hour ago - then phones went down again. Now contacts I need are out of office do hell who knows. Is it Saturday yet ? ><
Corporate decided to revamp almost our entire beer menu at work. Number 1 and 2 top sellers? Gone. Sam Adams, which we sell maybe 2 bottles a month? You guys need more Sam Adams varieties.
Seems like somebody is getting a kickback. When even our district manager chimes in asking why they are removing Stella, the response is along the lines of "For anybody who wants it, suggest brand X from Miller. It is very similar but a much higher quality."
While I am a beer snot, to even suggest anything Miller makes is in the same ball park let alone league as Stella is nuts. Even if someone is just a domestic or lager/pilsner drinker there is a huge quality gap between Miller and Stella. Sounds like corporate suits being their typical stupid selves not listening to those in the field.
Pilsner Urquell is the corresponding Miller beer.
apparently Princess (my corn snake) has decided that the water bowl is her mortal enemy and the only way she can be safe is to ensure it is toppled over and emptied at all times.
:/
I have another water bowl she can't knock over so I'll just take this one out. but ugh. now I have to clean the entire cage because the substrate got all wet and smelly. some of her poop must have been over on that side too, it's gross :/ STUPID SNAKE
I'll never understand that. I'd sooner put Luksusowa or Exclusiv in a water bottle.
I'd assume Miller is more profitable pound for pound. Aside from the fact that you are correct, who the fuck is buying Miller?? I bet not even the Irish would want Miller if it were handed out for free.
It doesn't make sense to say Irish people wouldn't even drink an American beer. You should have gone with West Virginian rednecks or something. Not people from a completely different country from the producer of the product.
That's my point.
Let's give an example:
Not even the poorest Russians would drink that piss vodka.
Not even the drunkest Scots would drink this shitty-ass scotch.
etc.
Agreed. That's a Bret Hart 4/10.
