What I learned from the UK Tournament
Michael Cole is a lot better without Vince in his ear
Nigel McGuiness really impressed me. I was always kinda meh on him on ROH, but I liked him a lot more here.
WWE found a way to get over people I had never seen before. I had seen Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews in matches, but Trent Seven, Tyler Bate, and a couple others really stood out. I went from watching out of casual interest to really rooting for some guys in their matches. Also, Pete Dunne was a great heel. Just has a punchable face.

And now we get Raw...

Cole was really great on Beast In The East too last year. The dude is a 20+ year vet, he knows what's up.

Cole and Nigel made for an amazing commentary duo. And throughout the entire show Dunne put on a masterclass for building heat.

Yeah specials like these make it pretty apparent that a lot of the problems on Raw are on the production side. It was a very fun weekend tournament and I hope they do go forward with the weekly UK show on the network. Until then I would even have Tyler Bate take the title and defend it on various shows in the UK with the promotions WWE are on good terms with at least. Let him defend the title at a Progress, ICW or OTT show.

Just got an app notification from WWE that Kurt Angle is going to be inducted in the HoF

So Angle being inducted basically rules him out from competing in WWE.... right? >.>
I will be happy enough if he makes a surprise entry in the Rumble. Kind of wished he would get another run though.

It'll be the night after WM Raw, Rusev will have some jobber locked in the Accolade, Angle will make the save by giving Jinder Mahal an Angle Slam and then dropping Rusev with a drop toehold into an ankle lock. The crowd goes wild, Rusev and Jinder slither off, Angle enjoys the cheers during the commercial break, never to be seen again in a physical role. And I would be completely happy with this.

Double posting but whatever, it would seem that the Hall of Fame, NXT Takeover Orlando, and Raw and Smackdown are all sold out during WM week. WrestleMania tickets are still available but honestly they look like terrible seats (behind or on the edges of the entrance ramp/stage) and they are going for $200 each after you add in Ticketmaster's bullshit fees.

This is honestly shaping up to be one of the most star studded Rumble matches in recent memory. I'm pretty excited about it. Plus it's gonna be a pretty awesome atmosphere if they can manage to fill the Alamo Dome.
