Omega and Ibushi better be in different blocks. If they meet, it should be in the finals.

The options being having a gaijin be the first back-to-back winner since Tenzan... or a freelancer? Gedo, you madman, book it!
CM Punk's pipebomb was six years ago today.
so I'm not watching SD, but they are redoing the MITB women's match next week? I can't even start.
Yes they are.
I kinda had this thought but didn't actually think they'd go through with it lol
Wasn't Handsome Rusev supposed to be there tonight? Did I miss him?
I guess possible Mae Young Classic spoiler

FML, just realized NXT and Zelda Symphony were separate days for me, so I found the presale code, went to look at tickets and all but the worst of the worst ring side seats already gone.
Mauro Ranallo has announced he is returning to WWE as a commentator for NXT. This is a pleasant surprise.
Mauro and Nigel is a fucking awesome commentary duo (plus Percy Watson hiding in the corner)
Almost forgot Best in the World is tonight.
I am so ready to boil over with smark rage when Cody wins.
Former ROH star is set to debut at the NXT tapings tonight.

At this point I think Cody will win and don't really care. My feelings about that happening are like the Survivor Series when Reigns won the title. Just get this shit over with.
Why is Cody as bad as Reigns? (I know nothing of this promotion)
I'm not trying to compare them, only on my feeling about getting a title. Cody is definitely better on the mic, while I'd say it's fairly close in terms of ring work, but I might give the benefit to Reigns, though that may be bolstered by having better opponents.
It's just that one of these companies is going to throw their title on Cody all the while he hasn't really wowed me. I know he's apparently had some great matches post-WWE, in EVOLVE or something? I have only seen his NJPW and some of his ROH matches. His NJPW work is usually one of the weaker bouts on the card, but apparently his t-shirts sell like crazy, so he'll still figure in somewhat prominently.
Cody is an A+ promo and has been doing absolutely stellar character work, but his actual in ring work hasn't been all that great. That's fine for WWE, but with how much more emphasis the rest of the wrestling industry puts on workrate it's not ideal.
He just doesn't really seem to have any chemistry with... anyone. Maybe he's just too ingrained in the WWE style to necessarily mesh with the rest of the wrestling world.
Also, Cross Rhodes always, ALWAYS, looks like shit. Over his entire career, even in WWE, I can only think of one time it looked good (on Seth Rollins @ Battlegrounds a few years ago)
Props to Page for agreeing to that suplex spot, that looked insanely painful.
