Wow, I can't not believe we fucking took game 1. Kings were the better team for the most part tonight. I expect Vancouver to come out firing in game 2. Seems like they wanted to play more physical but over did it tonight and took to many penalties. I'll take it though. Fucking Penner.

Which goal do you want to blame on lou?

The 5 on 3 goal?

The totally screened Mitchell goal, deflecting off a 'Nuck stick into top corner?

The magically perfect soccer redirect to Penner?

Or the goal where Lou wasn't on the ice?

I thought he was solid when called, stopping some very close chances early, but Vancouver was buried in penalties in the first.

Furthermore, Van only put two goals on the board - the Power Play was largely Dead on Arrival, and LA was forcing way more turnovers in Van's end than vice versa. LA played a surprisingly formidable PK, and were generally strong on defence - quick to get the puck, quickly and safely cleared - leaving Vancouver the rush chances they generated and not much else to work with. At no point did Van's two goals scored earn them a lead.

It's hard for me to say it was Lou's fault, especially considering at least two sure goals which he robbed. And yet Lou will probably be blamed anyway.
