gdi the winking one is on my laptop lol
Preds have always been pretty decent right? Not paid any attention to them until the last couple of years (2 lol).
I'll miss you Luo.
They had a pretty rough start at the beginning of the franchise, but they've been decent for the last several years. This is the first year they'd be considered an actual legitimate Cup contender though, and by many accounts(including mine) they're actually the favorite at this point. They're a great story for a few reasons:
- Successful team with a rabid fanbase in a non-traditional southern market(previously only really Dallas has pulled this off)
- Have had the same GM/Coach since the start of the franchise(some teams change these out like light bulbs every two years)
- Almost all of their good players have come through great drafting/farm system, they routinely ice a competitive team for way less money than other teams spend
- Old-school style of play, they don't score a whole ton of goals or have a ton of superstars, they have gritty guys who pound you into the boards and get to the net and battle for tips and rebounds
- All-universe goalie who is a fucking monster(6'5" 201lbs) and a backup who's even fucking bigger
- Shea Weber's playoff beard
- and now, apparently, the hottest ice girls in the worldSpoiler: show
Also, repostan from page one but Welt probably didn't see it:
Wow he's only 201 lbs for 6'5"? I would've thought he'd be a lot heavier.
The beard weighs 20 pounds on it's own.
Stuck at work till 9 I'll miss the first 2 periods. FML
I'm stuck at work until 11pm. So quit your bitching lol.
What kind of workouts do hockey players do anyway? I would think they wouldn't have a problem adding a lot of muscle if they wanted to, but alot of them seem to be lighter than I would expect from contact sports athletes.
Do the devils dancers count towards a teams hotness?

Part of the problem is actually that you can't maintain the muscle over the course of the season. Going into training camp, all of them are hulks and probably much heavier than their normal listed weight, but lose a substantial amount of muscle over the course of the season when they're more worried about maintaining health and conditioning over muscle mass.
Other than that, too much muscle is actually a detriment to playing hockey due to the loss of flexibility and agility. Usually hockey workouts are all centered around the core, since balance on skates, shot power, and hitting momentum are all generated from there. Lots of plyometrics, squats, ab workouts, etc.
I...jesus

Wulf was right, girl-for-girl that's not even really close to what I've seen from other teams
edit: I don't even see either of the two girls in the Webering pick on their lol
