obviously 60 and nicenice gear before going. pretty good damage rape, i notice the barb's attack speed is outta control, way faster than my bash spam, but that's to be expected

Umm, I have only played with, at minimum, my girlfriend, but is there a reason you wouldn't use a follower if you were soloing?

And hit lvl 13, about to hit Aranae's chamber. I'm about 5k short of lvl 14, gonna get the lvl and I should be good to take her down.

I've been using an enchantress with my fembarb when soloing some. They're pretty damn funny sometimes, especially hearing lots of well done voice/dialogue.

The random chatter is really good and rarely gets tiring because there's enough of it and it's generally well acted. I know I've heard all the templar vs fem WD lines a dozen times over.

I didn't use them before because it didn't feel like solo'ing. But I'm enjoying it, even though the Templar hits for a whopping 2-3 damage. I've got him set to healing and the regen skill, but I think I'll swap that out for his slow ability.

BTW - how are you guys taking screencaps?

Yeah my templar is set to all healing/defensive abilities.

Yeah I'm going all D with the Templar. I'm torn between the regen ability, or the slow. Hard to pass up free regen, but slowed mobs is always handy!

I dont know about the templar because I had it geared with MF gear, but I geared my enchantress with a DPS + INT setup and she is pretty good; I'm on the process of putting a better kit for my Templar.

In general they are very useful but you cant use them for Diablo which is in my opinion extremely disappointing and retarded.

I thought magic find doesn't work on templar? Or I'd be stacking that in every slot! Right now I have him set for healing and stunning, which is handy for tanking purposes.

Aranae down, on my way to the Butcher. That's the first fight I'm nervous about. Took me 2 tries on my first normal toon. But this time, knowing the ropes, going more defense/utility, think he'll go down easy.

Magic Find works on the escorts, but the potency is greatly reduced.

Made it to act 2 with my HC Monk on normal. Those wasps, man... I haven't died yet, but I foresee my first death coming from those things. If I'm not paying 100% attention I always take a ton of damage from them.

Butcher was a lot easier than I expected. Only had to pop diamond skin once (and then didn't really need it) and don't think I chugged any pots.

Up to the Magdha fight. Lvl 19 with 1.4k HP and my damage is something like 77-80. Get another 1-2 levels before taking her down?

had a good a1 to through Belial late last night

stumbled into Kitana.. previously my #2 DH femDH. Kitana now lv26 as 'back up DH' and main DH Scyleia still only lv18. definitely leveling characters spontaneously @Q@;;

Got rolling through A1/A2 real nice with Fireal + spotty public game performance collectively across maybe 8 randoms. i swear man, when you're geared well, it's so nice to capitalize on the impatience of others encountered in public games

Also, Staying Gold (1,000,000) was had. yay 1% of the way to the One Percenter

i has question (which is kinda obvious one, yeh)

do you think your game (and thus your Heroes) would be nearly as polished if not playing this mode? I was talking to Fireal about it yesterday (also new HC recruit) and he loves how he plays and builds heroes so much more now
