I'm now mid-move and will be without Internet an D3 for about a week
Last night I started my pre NM SK grinding. Amazing to see what you learn after going through just a HC normal run. Had two incidents where I ran into champ packs in small spaces, right by entrances to mini-dungeons. Knowing I'd have to burn 2 defensive cooldowns just to enter the fight, I walked away. And when fighting some annoying champ packs, never panicked. Kept a constant eye on my red globe, and mini-map to make sure I was kiting to an area I'd already cleared.
I like this HC stuff
Edit - sexy boots Rora!
glad to hear you're preferring this mode.
it really gets the most out of the week 1/2 (and up to months and months) of the launch cause we're not pouting about the AH selling flawless radiants for wtfreally amounts
..and everyone is abusing a repeated A4 Inferno quest on Heroes with the inability to kill Daltyn on Inferno. maybe even Hell diff Diablo, i dunno maybe some surely. Some normal mode people are rolling deep and did it right; obviously someone had to get the quest access and then spread it like dustin hoff--Outbreak! yeah
And D3 is so no MMO and no timer and no dailies and no obligation. And go move and brb awhile; your army of heroes will be waiting for you, and they may benefit from the break ;o (also no monthly fee ~~)
Edit: thanks; Ajax male barb gonna like leveling into those Deadly Talons (boots wtfmoo?)
guys
at lv22 in diablo 3, you can put talons on your feet
Thanks Rora. Have fun leveling into those. I think those are an upgrade on what I've got, love em! Yeah, this mode definitely is more fulfilling. And the community makes it fun. Everyone offering advice and helping with gear and runs and stuff. It's really a small army! On that note, I'm sitting at 330DPS (I think) and 7.8k HP @ lvl 35. I'm waiting to ding 36, and get one more JC page to train him and upgrade my gems, then should I be ready to go for SK? Or wait till I'm really mowing things down.
@Syntex. If addiction grabs me, I might help m ex-roomie unpack tomorrow in exchange for Internet. He also plays D3 ad knows I'm jonsing. If not, probably be on next Sunday. Lvl an alt toon while I'm gone! I like blasting baddies, not running from them!
One thing I think some players don't fully conceptualize is the growth boom you're hitting: the steep, start-of-a-roller-coaster-ride like climb your Hero growth takes on from the Lv35 to Lv36 ding onward. I tell people to take freaking care until level 36; you'll hate yourself if you let yourself die before you start that hp-per-vit climb.
You know they always said the game starts at nightmare. Well, the ding from level 1 to 2 is 'really' the ding from 35 to 36. if you've got good gear at 36, tear up SK or if you're familiar with the mechanics of a fluid SK fight
I'm excited for the progression. I'm at 7.8k or so HP, and 600-700 VIT, looking at a significant boost @36. Then upgrading JC'er, can start resocketing equipment, try to squeeze in more damage without doing too many overly expensive overhauls.
It's so dead at work, I should have brought my laptop with me....
Back to NM for my DH!
But my HP is too low stupid
1) Amythis that never drop
2) AH that is always broken!
poor whippers
yeah I'd say those would be pretty much perfect for any class all the way through normal, though you might wanna just find big vit for barbs/monks
also yeah the broken AH is really starting to suck ><
Kripp did a 5 stack diablo kill the other day on sc, so he says he thinks he can do it on hc. He's gonna start in the next couple days. Will be following him doing that for sure.
I saw that video too. Explain "stack".
Nephalem Valor Stack, you get it in Inferno, icreases drop rate of items.
You get it at 60 no matter what difficulty.
