I am three bars from LV 58 (Wizard) at the end of Act II Hell. I am terrified of fighting Belial. The champions I've been fighting nearly kill me every time (wtf is up with the vortex + molten + arcane combos I keep running into???) I have 5600 dps and 50K HP. Do I stand a chance? I am most afraid of the meteor spam he does. I always end up getting cornered and eating a chunk of HP....

For the sake of safety--especially your first trip through Hell--I recommend grinding to 60 before Belial. You can definitely do him; those are solid stats. I just like to open myself to the gear at 60 and then usually stomp up A3 pretty comfortably once lv60 and done with Belial.

It's not like you'll get 58 to 60 much quicker in A3 than A2. You can run the Realm of Shadow and hunt for The Tomekeeper and I'll <3 uuuuuuuuuu~ (last ghost I need haha)

Got both witch doctor and barbarian at level 60 and did both in Act 3 of Hell. I usually stack Main Damage Stat + Vit + All Resistances and never have had a problem with Belial. Just buying an up to date weapon and the level 57 set of gear to get some decent all resistance should be more than enough to gear check past him.

Thanks, I think I'll end up doing this. I got to level 58 last night and upgraded my weapon, so now I have 6500 dps and 52K HP. A nice upgrade, but I am afraid to let anything touch me, lol. It looks like a lot of HP but it goes away in just a few hits.

started playing a bit again, got a wizzy up to 28 and had some fun. well as much fun as you can have in normal diff. hopefully back into hell by the weekend~

Rora and I have been duo'ing (Wiz lvl 44 and DH lvl43) through NM, currently at the Terminus. Not the fastest going, but we're having fun going co-op if you want to join when you reach NM.

Vultonn- as rora said, i would agree waiting until 60 to do Belial while you farm Ancient Devices and acquire ez xp. at 60, a whole new array of equipment becomes available, greatly easing the burden of a 1st time Belial fight in Hell difficulty. when you do finally take on Belial, don't be intimidated. you're a wizard and you're mobile with high amount of damage reduction against a relatively slow monster with plenty of warning between attacks. you also have the ability to be doing constant damage via hydra/blizzard and shift-clicking magic missles while while dodging angry clawsz or green meteors. i found 9100 dps/26000 hp/350ish poison resist/24% movement speed makes belial an ez fight with little to no danger. you'll be fine.

Americas server has had 0 HoC plans up until like the last 10 days; at least 2 people have found plans recently. Mad props to the DH+Ench A2 farming.

One way or the other that's big money.

Either sell the recipe now for a bundle, or use it, and sell helms. Eventually there will be more and they might not sell for as much. I think I'd keep it.
