Well he is a kid. Didn't except a manly voice on a kid tbh.
I expected something that didn't make my ears hurt; nobody wants to hear someone who sounds like they're going through puberty. He sounds great in the sub, badass enough to be Edward Elric after all.
edit: Ahahaha, Deadman MC dub VA is the guy who does Kenta in initial D, no wonder he sounds like a bitch.
Well Bebop will be 15 years old next year. My how time flies.
Yes. We're all old as fuck.
*sigh* Feeling old in this case is a good feeling. Animu fans of the age before Inuyasha, Naruto, and Bleach..rejoice! For you were witness to one of the finest television blocks of animated goodness.
Yep, it's pretty bad. I miss G Gundamn, Gundam Wing, Ruroni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, and hell, even Hamtaro when compared to what is considered mainstream anime in the US nowdays.
i miss shin chan :/ little bastard was hysterical
So how is CN going to deal with there only being one season of Deadman Wonderland, with a second unannounced as far as I can tell? The show just ended on a cliffhanger, and having to read the comics will slow a lot of people down.
Could always show "The world god only knows" thats a pretty decent one.
I'd be cool with that. >.>
Because of Toonami, I actually marathoned all of Deadman Wonderland. It is quite good, but yeah, I really am about to just read the manga since the anime... (not really an ending spoiler, but, just in case)
Spoiler: show
Seems like the manga is on hiatus due to the author being pregnant or something. Read that after finishing the series and was not expecting this series to be made by a woman with how graphically violent it gets at times.
I still have Kikaider's opening theme on my Relaxing play list lol.

TO HELL WITH FEAR
Was that Wraith on the cover of that magazine?
After last week I had the urge to run through Deadman Wonderland and while I'll admit there are aspects to critique, the show was fucking badass and this is a great pick for Toonami. I got the impression prior to airing that it wasn't really worthwhile and that it was something to accept in lieu of a relatively low budget, but I enjoyed the fuck out of it.
I'd ruin her if you catch my drift
If anyone is curious about Friender, he returns next ep and pretty much for the rest of the series.
