That SAO ending was not what I was expecting to happen there at all. Tonights episode of DBS makes me wish that I was able to stand watching it subbed since it left on such a good teaser ending.

Last night before the shows started they had a warning, "For people with epilepsy this may cause seizures" or something like that. I was surprised. Have they been posting that notice lately? I don't usually catch the beginning of Toonami. Is it causing a lot of people to have seizures?!

SO. Remember the Pokémon flashing episode that triggered a bunch of epileptic episodes in viewers? Since then, TV networks have something called the “Harding Test.”

Jason DeMarco had a statement about that or something, I'll just quote the article I found;

Jason DeMarco, senior vice-president and creative director for Adult Swim, posted a thread on Twitter on Friday commenting on "slowdown" in last week's episode of the Dragon Ball Super anime on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block.

According to DeMarco, this happened because of edits made to scenes that failed the Harding Test. The Harding Test tests all content aired on television to make sure it does not have flashing frames that could trigger people who have epilepsy.

DeMarco added the people who perform the program edits on the show slow down the cuts that failed the test to about four frames per second, which, according to DeMarco, made the fight scenes "look insanely slow." DeMarco stated that thanks to fans informing him of the issue, he talked to the people in charge of program editing and asked them to slow the scenes down less. He added that after testing, the slowed scenes going forward will now look better.

When I saw that episode I did notice the slow motion but figured it was because the production or something, since its never been the most consistent show.
