the Amazonians would go out to sea every once in a while to have sex with sailors and then kill them and toss their bodies overboard. If they got pregnant, they kept the females but sold the males into slavery to one of the Gods

This would piss a bunch of people off, but then again...if Patty Jenkins had to fight tooth and nail with Warner Bros Execs to get the no man's land scene included into the film, then I wouldn't put it past them to do it.

The unconventional life of Dr. William Marston, the Harvard psychologist and inventor who helped invent the modern lie detector test and created Wonder Woman in 1941. Marston was in a polyamorous relationship with his wife Elizabeth, a psychologist and inventor in her own right, and Olive Byrne, a former student who became an academic. This relationship was key to the creation of Wonder Woman, as Elizabeth and Olive's feminist ideals were ingrained in the character from her creation. Marston died of skin cancer in 1947, but Elizabeth and Olive remained a couple and raised their and Marston's children together. The film is said to focus on how Marston dealt with the controversy surrounding Wonder Woman's creation.

Here's the thing though most Israelis are pro-Israel because well most people are at least somewhat pro their country and they are required to serve unless they get some special exemptions and well bad shit is always happening over there. So you could make a similar statement about 70% of the country so in the end they'd really do the same to the majority of Israeli figures

It's ridiculous how we can't just enjoy something these days without either politicizing it or over analyzing the living fuck out of it. Sure, some movies are where you can turn your brain off, some are more cerebral and others have a message, but come on.

One thing to note about the fall off, and this could just be me/my area. I wanted to go see this movie this weekend, but the Wife and I tend to only really do the IMAX. This only had one weekend in IMAX and got replaced by the fucking mummy in my theater, it was the only reason we didn't go this weekend.

Not saying that is the only reason, but if that is how most theaters did it, i'm sure it doesn't help things.

Just saw it last night. Went in with low expectations despite the good reviews and movie was solid. Only complaints really was the last act as everyone else bitched about and the excessive amount of bullet time used in every fight sequence.
