Mystery solved? lolCisco provides Barry with high energy protein bars
There was almost an entire episode in season 1 about his metabolism issues when they developed his special protein bars. How is this a mystery to you guys? It was discussed again in this very thread during the Velocity 9 eppisode.
Season 1 Episode 2. Yep.
When Barry started passing out like a bitch, Caitlyn was like... you not eatting enough bruh. In comes Colosus with a protein bar.
Star Labs is a Lab... maybe they have some patent licenses that they receive regular monies on?
I didn't think they'd ever touched on his high metabolism aside from not being able to get drunk.
The prisoners were supposed to be explained in the show, but the scene was cut. Can still find it on YouTube though. I don't blame you for being confused about that - albeit slightly unnecessary considering it's a show about humans with superpowers, multiple universes, and supergeniouses who can invent and build things decades if not centuries ahead of the rest of the world in mere hours, and for some reason. How they feed the prisoners and how/if they pee and poop is one of the lesser mysteries of the show imo

Article goes on the guess this may be Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man.They're looking for a new addition to the recurring cast, described as "Barry’s slightly older, slightly geekier contemporary, a guy who is as smart as he is intuitive." He "doesn't buy Barry's nice guy routine" and starts doing some investigating "all while concealing some secrets of his own."
edit: I can imagine a scene with Sisqo saying how dumb a name that is.
Season 3 Episode 1 is officially titled "Flashpoint" per Grant Gustin's twitter

We're definitely doing this FP thing our own way.. I've read Flashpoint, I've seen the amazing animated film. This will be its own thing.
Clearly it has to be since the only other League member he's interacted with in this is the Arrow and the League isn't even a thing.

and more surprising/mysterious spoiler
Spoiler: show
Tom Felton (AKA, Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter movies) was added as a regular to the cast for season 3 a few weeks ago, worth noting. His character's name is Julian Dorn and having no knowledge of the Flash comics, I don't know if that piece of info is significant or not.
A quick google search says it's not a known name.

...article goes on to theorize he may be Godspeed, a new villain from DC Rebirth.Julian Dorn isn't the name of any big character from the comics; he is instead an original character created for the show. Or at least, that's what the writers of Flash would have you believe. After two seasons full of shocking reveals, Flash fans have learned that not everything is what it seems, and that a character's "name" isn't always their true identity.
Be nice to have a main villain who isn't just another speedster...
Confirmed at SDCC that flashpoint will affect all the shared universe shows (dunno if already known) and they will be different moving forward. Which makes me wonder if they can even reverse flashpoint.
Oh man, that means they start from the beginning with Olicity. Get hype
Maybe that will somehow unify Supergirl with this Universe? Who knows
