http://www.deadline.com/2014/02/gran...h-first-photo/Warner Bros. Television has just released the first image from its CW pilot The Flash, based on the DC comic. It shows Grant Gustin in full head gear as his character Barry Allen’s superhero alter ego The Flash. In the show, through a freak accident, scientist Barry Allen (Gustin) is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive. Allen was introduced on the CW series Arrow this season but The Flash won’t make his debut until the pilot, co-starring Jesse L. Martin and executive produced by co-writers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg and director David Nutter. Production begins next week.
I got that much just no idea why the crop , zoom , spoiler.
i posted the large picture first and it was huge as fuck so I added spoiler tags around it to not break tables, and put the smaller pic outside the spoiler
All I can think of
Spoiler: show
Atleast its a nice dark red and not a bright one, should be interesting to see.
I like it. But gonna hold out till they show the rest of the suit
Not bad but, I really do not understand that pose lol
Nor do I understand why all costumes have to be carbon-mesh now.
I wish they would have taken a page of out current new technology in running wear etc, then added some protective layers somewhere

The guy can move faster than light, you don't need to protect what you can't hit.
Honestly, any suit we can kinda come up in RL is going to look shitty, because its RL (or well, live action). Keeping it simple works best (see: Arrow)
Some clearer pics...

It's worse than I thought...
Other than completely scrapping the original suit and making Flash use plain street clothes, I have no idea what they could have done to make the Flash suit look non-derp. Seriously, it's a full-body red jumpsuit with little lightning bolts on his head. What were people expecting?
I feel sorry for the actor in the costume. Is this going to turn out like that last Flash Gordon series? (which I never watched).
