Well because as a girl, it is easier to relate to a female a main character.

I personally don't believe it needed to be publicized. I am not offended by its existence in the least, and I would not call it as bad as the video that spawned this thread (by any means), but it is attention-seeking.

Huh? It was worth sharing because other people might enjoy it. Video game mods are made, and shared all the time. There's a huge community for it.

I have no problem relating to male characters. What's important to me is that they're an interesting person. Gender is irrelevant.

This isn't to say that what I feel can be transposed upon anyone else, but I believe it is more important to relate to our fellow humans (regardless of gender) than it is to relate to whoever shares our particular type of genitalia.

That said, I have no problem with choice. Choices should be available to everyone, and as many as feasibly possible.

Oh, come on, there's bigger differences between men and women than that. Differences in genitalia hadn't even occurred to me.

I never felt I couldn't relate to a male protagonist because he didn't have tits.

Usually if someone isn't relatable it has nothing to do with their gender.
