Bregor / Judai, is there a place in DC that sells Edge Authentic jerseys? I want to go make sure Im okay with the size before I drop close to $400 on an authentic, stitched plate / etc Erat jersey. And finding a Preds home authentic in the new style is fucking impossible; IceJerseys and NHL.com havent even had the option to select them in over 7 months. I finally just had to call the Preds pro shop in Nashville.

If not, can someone give me some size advice? Im 5'8" 185 lbs, pretty buff-ish these days. I'd like it to be fairly close fitting, not tight, but I dont want a damn snuggie either. I was thinking a 52, but not sure.

You could hit up the Verizon Center if the Caps shop is open. You could also try Kettler Iceplex just over in Arlington as they have a nice shop and it's where the Caps practice.

No. Washington is seriously not a sports town, I'm not joking. Pittsburgh, NYC, Boston, the state of New Jersey, Baltimore, and Philadelphia are bigger sports towns in that city alone. You are on par with Buffalo. For being the national's capital and having a metro area the size that you do, your town's sporting mania level is weak.

DC is a very bandwagon sports town. At the start of every season we'll be nuts for the Redskins, but after 6-8 games it's everyone cursing Dan Snyder. The biggest thing is we have so many transplants that there are fans of a lot of various teams. If you go to a Redskins v. Steelers game the stadium will be half Redskins fans and half Steelers fans. So, we're a big Redskins town, and we're kind of a Caps town after football season, and if the Caps are doing well.
