I'm trying to make ff14 work on my not-so-new desktop and this is what i get.

    Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
Videocard is ATI radeon 2600 HD.
    CPU is AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+, 2999 Mhz, 2 core, 2 logic processor
    4GB ram
    I've update catalyst and directx.

The game is pretty smooth and no lag atm, but i have this problem with models, any thought about it?

That's your graphics card either overheating or the video memory being corrupt.

    Either way, it's your card.

The card is quite old i know, it's a shot in the dark trying to make it work. Do you think is something fixable with software or is the hardware that is too old?

Roll back your AMD drivers, I had the same issue with an older card before I went back to either 12.2 or 12.3 and it (and stuff like Portal 2 that had similar problems) work fine now.

What have you tried? Because the answers are going to be the same as they were for the last person.

    1) Your graphics card is corrupt/overheating

    2) You need to update or rollback your drivers

Any time I've had serious graphics glitches like that, it has always been a fried card.

Nothing yet, I'm not too tech savy so I wanted to ask around and do a little research before I did something that could make it worst. I guess I'll try updating my driver and go from there. Thanks for the help.

Updated my driver and everything seems to be running smoothly, thanks again for the help and patience with a numb.
