So I'm having a blank, working on the get Barret on a date for gold saucer trophy with a guide,

But does doing random battles affect the date scene? Aka I want to grind aeris to get her lb4 for the trophy, will having her in my pt just for random battles affect who I will get?

In looking through google it seems there a glitch that lets you get unlimited points for Barrett in Cosmo Canyon. Unless they fixed that from the ps4 edition I would try that.

It let me do it. I did the first response like 40 times by leaving and coming back. No clue if it gave me Barrett rep each time but I was for sure able to answer the first question multiple times.

So just to clarify, the current steam version is the PS1 version, but with updated textures that scale better then just booting up the original on my ps2. Music and everything is exactly the same?

No, it's the abominable Eidos PC port from 1998 with minor adjustments. Can mod the shit out of it though.

Has anyone played the FF7 iOS port? I got a long flight ahead in a couple of days and I was thinking of buying it for my 6S Plus. How's the battery drain? I assume you can run it in airplane mode just fine right?

Ios version has terrible controls, memory hog, and rapidly drains battery. Positives, can turn random encounters off and trigger max stats.

Bought this during the Humble Bundle 50% off sale and gotta say i'm really really enjoying the cleaned up graphics of enemies and characters. Only annoying thing I have is that it forces me to use the L3 Analog Stick to do movement and won't let me bind it to the D-pad at all.

Are you playing on Steam? If so, you can change the layout in the controller setup. There's a few premades if you go under the game specific ones. They use the D-Pad.

Okay sweet. I got a ps4 version and I THINK a version on my vita. Not sure if the same or not or if cross save works.
