Woah, that is awful.
Woah, that is awful.
I was watching a video last night where he said he was playing Starcraft 2 hardcore because had a good bill of health. They always punish the good ones.
And it seems a mod of r/games is removing any posts about the subject.
Didn't TB tell a guy to get cancer and was karma'd by it? Sucks regardless
I wonder if we'll be able to buy a working pc game at launch with our (U)nits.

Could they mean it this time? Could the series not be dead and gone?
I'm crossing my fingers because it's coming from the actual games part of Sega. Dear god just let Atlus have the assets and see what happens.
Need to man up and finish the first one before then.

Paradox Interactive acquires White Wolf IP from CCP Games.
Currently, White Wolf tabletop production has been licensed from CCP to Onyx Path Publishing (who are really just the old White Wolf staff operating under a new name.)
It's unknown exactly how things will go with Onyx Path moving forward, but they were aware of the deal behind the scenes, and recent additions to their publishing slate imply that the same arrangement is likely to continue.
STOCKHOLM - Oct. 29, 2015 - Paradox Interactive, a global games developer and publisher, today announced the acquisition of White Wolf Publishing from CCP Games in an all-cash deal. Now a subsidiary of Paradox Interactive, White Wolf Publishing is a licensing business that owns and manages intellectual properties including World of Darkness, Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Led by CEO Tobias Sjögren, former EVP of Business Development at Paradox, White Wolf Publishing will operate as an independent entity with a dedicated team.
White Wolf Publishing has a long history of producing gaming universes that span mediums, including tabletop and collectible card games, PC games and books. Paradox Interactive acquired all of White Wolf’s brands, and its new subsidiary will pursue development opportunities across relevant categories of games under the White Wolf Publishing name.
“Like Paradox’s games, White Wolf’s properties have dedicated, passionate communities. While there are similarities in spirit, White Wolf’s IPs have very different themes than Paradox’s titles, and deserve their own brand and team,” said Fredrik Wester, CEO and President of Paradox Interactive. “We have great respect for White Wolf’s gaming worlds and see big opportunities for their expansion in the future under our new subsidiary.”
“Over the last 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with beloved studios like DICE and Paradox on the business management side of games, and as a developer earlier in my career. I look forward to bringing my experience to bear as we pursue new ways to interact with White Wolf’s universes,” said Tobias Sjögren, CEO of White Wolf Publishing. “The White Wolf IPs are well suited for all kinds of media and we see great potential to expand them in the future.”
"At CCP, we have great admiration for the White Wolf brands and communities, and it was extremely important to us that the acquiring company share the same respect and understanding,” said Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, CEO of CCP Games. “With Paradox, we know we are leaving the brands in good hands."

Borderlands Online canceled, 2K China shutdown
We are excited about the opportunities to expand our business in Asia, and we remain committed to delivering triple-A offerings for that region. At this time, we can confirm that we are closing 2K China. We determined that the additional time required to finish current projects at the studio, particularly Borderlands Online, would not yield a favorable return on investment.
We are working with affected staff to identify other opportunities within the company where possible. The costs associated with the closure will not materially impact the company’s financial results. This decision does not affect our team behind NBA 2K Online, which has been and continues to be highly successful for our company. In addition, we look forward to the commercial launch of Civilization Online in Korea during this fiscal year.
Night Dive Remaking Original System Shock
That this company was able to assemble the fragmented parts of System Shock's IP, release an enhanced version of the original, and now is remaking it from the ground up with talks of SS3 as well... these guys are my new heroes.System Shock remake is in development
New rights owner Night Dive is "having some conversations" about a third game.
Classic sci-fi horror FPS System Shock is getting a remake by Night Dive Studios, the company responsible for releasing the Enhanced Edition of Looking Glass Studios' original 1994 game earlier this year on GOG and Steam. It also re-released System Shock 2 a couple of years back.
This will be much more than a re-release or remaster, however. Night Dive CEO and founder Stephen Kick said in an interview with Fast Company that he's been working with the game's original concept artist, Robert Waters, to reimagine his vision for a modern audience.
Night Dive would like this remake to be a multi-platform affair with console versions available as well, a first for Night Dive. The studio is made up of industry vets, however, with Kick a former character artist at Sony Online Entertainment.
The small Vancouver, Washington-based company recently acquired the rights to the System Shock franchise and is considering working on a third game in the series, but that's a little beyond its scale at the moment. Night Dive's head of business development Larry Kuperman told Fast Company that the studio is "having some conversations" about this.
"To really do another game in that series is going to take resources and time and commitment that we don't have," Kuperman said of the 10-person studio. "It's really not our core business."
That core business Kuperman is referring to is re-releases and restorations with over 80 games to Night Dive's name. Notable examples include I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream, Strife, The 7th Guest, Bad Mojo, Tex Murphy, and Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert's catalogue of children's games at his former studio Humongous.
Retro City Rampage: Shakedown Hawaii
(PC/PS4/Vita/3DS)
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/...rld-adventure/It’s been three years since Retro City Rampage was released, but a new game from Vblank Entertainment is finally on its way for PS4 and PS Vita! Check out the trailer for a sneak peek.
Shakedown Hawaii brings the Vblank open world universe into the 16-bit era, powered up with destructible environments and an arsenal of supercharged weapons. Taking place some thirty years after the events of Retro City Rampage, the game follows The Player as he comes out of early retirement to rebuild his neglected corporate empire.
What a tease! I know that’s not much to go on, but much more will be revealed next-next weekend, as Shakedown Hawaii makes its first playable debut at PlayStation Experience December 5-6th.

71869 FINAL FANTASY VI

Also, FFVI on Steam will be a buy for me.
Xrd -sign- & tentacle were known, but the others are quite welcome.
As much as I loved FF6, I know it will be that god awful mobile port so I'll pass.
Nice to see XRD coming to Steam. I wanted to try that, but in the end decided to hold off until the enhanced version comes out for PS4, so maybe I'll grab it for practice.
