The initial idea behind BGP was that it would act as a 'Champions League' of sort, relative to BGE and BGW (the 'Premier League' and 'La Liga', if you will). The execution has left much to be desired though, as the top 3 from BGE and BGE haven't been promoted every year. If the execution can't be stepped up, then I think scrapping BGP is the right way to go.

I'd be happy to handle BGP and subsequent promotion/relegation issues if that set up was wanted.

Maybe two divisions instead of four? Adding a flex spot means a lot of starting players every week but it's okay I guess. I also don't get why people hate kickers.

To me adding divisions just adds a way to screw people out of a deserved playoff spot. People love to complain about scoring a lot and still losing (me included), and being screwed out of a playoff spot because you are in the "strong" division is pretty much the same thing. Still open to it if that's what people want, those are just my thoughts.

As for kickers, they are completely random year to year, and there is no skill involved in picking the right guy. To me, if the best strategy is to wait until the last round, they shouldn't exist at all.

In 20-man, it looks like Plow (Plow You!) and his dad (Wildcats) might not be back, and I'm guessing there will be a handful of others too. Mossy can get you in I'm sure.

I really like how we had a forum group for the league and were able to pre-draft two or three rounds beforehand.

I liked the pre-draft also, will definitely set that up again.

I like 4 divisions better than 2. With 2, there's like no way the winner of a division would have ended up missing the playoffs anyway, all it does is maybe give them a bye because they won, but really were 3rd or 4th in the league and now they have the #2 seed. No drama.
4 divisions can have 1 garbage team from the garbage division of the year, make the playoffs and hope for a miracle run. Drama.

So for me, it's either no divisions, or 4.

Yeah, I prefer having byes for the top 2 seeds but I felt that only 6 out of 20 teams going to the playoffs would be too few. If others prefer 4 divisions, speak up and I will change it.

Good I was a little worried when you said you didn't get your BGW invite.

BGP would work best imo if we had a BG3 to pull from as well. The way it is now it is BGE/W commissioners, top 3, and then going down the list to fill. The problem comes in when you had a previous BGP winner also place in the top 3 of their league, or a commissioner as a top 3, we have to go further down the list to pull from. With all the people wanting spots, why doesn't some take the initiative to make a BGSouth, same points/rules/positions as E/W, draft style is up to the group?

How many in BGW want an auction style? If we get a 2/3rds majority we will do that.

Oh and it was never setup as people living on the east or west, it was just a way of separating them out.

That was just the initial setup/idea. I'm not against inviting winners of other leagues. Of course, the BGP setup is copied from that of BGW/BGE, so it wouldn't have 2 qb or IDP. I'm on board though.

What was my rank? Cardiac Cats. I thought I went to the playoffs in that one, but I deleted my team since I wasn't playing again this year. Can't figure out a way to view it anymore.

Could be way wrong. Had a hell of a time keeping up with 234978294723 leagues.

Edit: nvm, found it. was 6th. Lost as the #1 seed in the first round of the playoffs by 1.12pts lol
