This was my shit back in the day lol.
This was my shit back in the day lol.
Fulgore was my personal jam.
Funny thing is if you knew how to play Fulgore, you pretty much knew how to play Jago. And vice versa.
Red September 4 stream from Jackson, MS is live! http://www.twitch.tv/rawkusx
Lol, I told ya:
Tokido Interview:
Other than Tekken Tag Tournament 2 are you playing anything else at the moment? Last time we talked you said that you were going to be picking up Persona 4 Arena.
Ah… Persona 4 Arena… I’m not playing that anymore.
Huh? Why not?
Now that Arc System Works has announced the new Guilty Gear and the new BlazBlue, all the Persona 4 Arena players have gone back to playing those games, including me.
In general I buy every single fighting game for consoles when they come out, but if a game turns out to be “no good game”, then I stop playing.
Why do people want fighting games not SF4/Marvel to die? And it's a definitely a sense of wanting to see a game's community die. Shit's mad narrow-minded imo, other games are genuinely fun. The whole "when's Marvel!?" shit by stream monsters whenever another game is on is lame as hell at this point.
Don't get me wrong though, SFxT and MK can eat huge bags of dicks and games like that shouldn't be fronting like they're anything serious.
For whatever reason, I enjoy MK top 4 type matches. There is a lot of drama in that community!
I like tekken for what it is. DoA and P4 might end up being the odd man out when there's other similar and more serious 2D fighters two directly compete with its audience
I hate the current atmosphere for fighting games, but lets be honest. This was the same shit going on during the great game depression of 2003-2009. Everyone was CVS2, Marvel 2, ST onry while every thing else got pushed to the side. Tekken 6 was legit. KOF98 was legit. Mark of the Wolves was legit. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom was legit. Guilty Gear XX was legit. SNK vs Capcom was decent. Melty Blood was decent. All of this shit was pushed to the side for the aforementioned top three Capcom games.
Same shit, different era is all.
Why you so mean ._. It was ok.
To sort of elaborate on Deejay's point, P4's scene dwindling doesn't surprise me. With Capcom, they make such varied games that they don't really compete with themselves as much. While there are plenty of people who play both SF4 and Mahvel, they are very different from each other and not really competing for the same audience. Namco does the same thing with SC and Tekken. They are both 3D games, but they are so drastically different from each other that they can each maintain their own scene by appealing to different players. The ArcSys games really aren't too fundamentally different from each other. GG, BB and P4 are effectively competing with each other for the same audience, so it stands to reason that those players would either settle on one of the three, or simply play whatever the newest game is. The latter being what actually happens with those games.
I guess Tokido thinks SFxT is a good game ;o—I see. Are you still playing Street Fighter X Tekken?
Yes, in fact that’s my main tournament game right now, because of the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary.

My bros are streaming tekken, and we'll be doing streaming crack sessions every Sunday for the foreseeable future. I'm still working my way through Fight Lab so I decided not to go out lol.
Holy dead thread, dante!
bump. dat doom swag
Don't get shit confused; absolutely no one is close to Infiltration's level on SFxTK. It will be a blowout.
I don't understand that mentality either. KOF13 at EVO was some of the hypest shit at that whole event. It's not my game but I can honestly say I had more fun watching that than SF4 and some of the UMVC3 top 8.
People don't get that you grow the community by being more inclusive.
