I absolutely adore tom hardy and I thought his performance was about as good as can be but God damn does Nolan sacrifice a lot of small integral parts of film making just to load up on extra needless story.

Agreed that Hathaway was rocking. Her character was wooden but physically she owned the part.

Yeah the movie was good. Definitely not terribad but also not the best of the three. Still would recommend anyone to see it. If Nolan didn't get an Oscar for TDK, he won't for this one.

I enjoyed this movie but it was too predictable.

Anyone who knows anything about Batman knows that Talia exists and could make the connection between this random-ass girl with the accent and her. I think it'll be more enjoyable for my parents, who don't know the comic. I did like that the Batman movie was focused on Batman and not on his enemies. It was him coming to terms with his life as Bruce & as Batman and finding the balance between the two. Still, Spider-Man 2 did that first. Also deux ex machina at the end, I really didn't like that. And JGL being named Robin! I know why they did that, but the nerd in me was pissed off

My theatre had the entire audience clapping and laughing throughout, which I hate hate hate at the movies because it was almost always inappropriate to do so, and clapping during a movie is fucking dumb. I only see about two movies a year in the theatre as opposed to waiting to see it at home, and the people there kind of ruined it for me.

Now that I've had some time to reflect on it, I think I still put it below TDK. I have to watch Begins again, as I haven't in many years and would like to know if it held up. I think it worked as far as wrapping up the trilogy, but as a stand-alone film it faltered.

I hated the movie. Stunning visuals, everything outside of that was shit.

A second day of sleep and I can say that the movie would have been the same if they removed JGL's scenes. What few "important" scenes he had could have focused more on Catwoman giving the character more depth. Something JGL and Hathaway's characters lacked severely.
