    Automatic Link Parsing

So, initially I thought it was something on my end, but it appears certain words on the forum automatically get parsed into green hyperlinks pointing at BGWiki. Job names spelled out (like when someone's forum title is Melee Summoner), Limbus, Salvage, seem to pick it up, but seemingly not all the time.

I tried using a different browser (IE9 in the screenshot, I normally use Chrome), I used my cell phone to check the site and it does the same thing, so I know its not my computer. I tried to search through posts about forum feature updates and I don't see anything about this.

I personally don't like this feature, because there are many types of spyware that behave a similar fashion (turn keywords into green hyperlinks), and people might initially get the wrong idea like I did.

In case not everyone sees this I've taken a screenshot.. note all the green underlined links.

Is there a way to make it stop doing this, or is it some universal forum setting?

It actually only happens in the FFXI sections of the forum. We thought green hyperlinks would make it clear that these aren't "real" links but from our BG Wiki keyword list.

This is the first version of this thing but it could be feasible to let people disable it if they don't like it in later versions.

I thought this was just going to be another bbcode, but this... This is fucking cool!

Had no idea what it was at first, an option to disable would be nice.

It gave me flashbacks to sites that used ad-links prior to no-scripts inception.

It's a neat idea in concept, but I feel in its current state, it lacks context. Still better off searching on the wiki itself to give a more relevant link than to assume the keyword will pick up something proper

It's now possible to opt-out from wiki links in your user settings.

Seemingly had to rejoin the no wiki integration group after Rieves were added to the system. Dunno if that was intended or an unwanted bug.
