I'll be attending a funeral with full military honors this weekend. I have a black, wool suit which I had planned to wear with a white dress shirt and dark red tie.
After checking the weather forecast for the area, it looks like it will be in the low 90's for the funeral. I'm beginning to second guess my selection. I'd like to be as respectful as possible due to the circumstance of the deceased's passing, but if there's a way to manage that without inviting heat stroke, I'd be interested in hearing it.
I've considered leaving the jacket in the car, or bringing my medium/dark grey suit instead, but both of those options seem less dignified.
