Fun fight, hardmode should be interesting depending on how they hardify it.
Two different attacks after teleporting:
Thermionic Beam: straight beam followed by bursts in proximity, identifiable by porting to opposite side of arena
Lunar Dynamo: full AoE dmg to everyone outside of 15 yalms or so
Yeah I'm starting to get that feeling that phase 2 is way too hard for a pug... I don't understand how people suck at this game. It's so easy. ;x

For anyone having problem with A misty past quest, here's info from the OF:
For anyone having trouble finding the proof, there is a third clam in the dungeon located on the Black Nook level to the west of Shearing Sheridan at point 4,4. You'll see a quest icon on your mini map.
For those who can't be bothered:
Skirmish is pretty cool. We won with a pug on our third try (first 1 whm d/c'd so we wiped, second I made a mistake on one NM and got hate too fast ). Won Trident and Claws, I lost roll on claw but won on Trident - LNC lv 25 lol >.<
Also, Legatus moves remind me of Mayakov
interesting battle, even tho it still tells us nothing of what really happens..
what i'm not digging tho, is the lack of music in several cutscenes, especially when they're not short and come with a mood.
How far behind am I with the GC quest line? I picked up one weeks ago where you have to take a party to Mor Dhona for a fight. I think it was the first 1.22 quest.
Question to those who posted certain spoilers... Are they revealed after the Legatus battle?
Went 0/5 on the fight last night. We weren't able to avoid the 9999 Megaflare after the golem phase. We only had a couple lunar fragments get through, so maybe that was it, but I'm not sure. I watched a video of the fight posted on the OF and it didn't look like they did anything differently than we did except that we were up top a lot longer than the 1.5 min that they were. I can't tell if they slept or killed the golems (we slept), so maybe killing the golems shortens the time he sends down a constant stream of lunar fragments? Their WAR stayed below out of camera range so it's possible he soloed them while the WHM/BLM duos sniped fragments. Megaflare only did ~1300 to them. We'll have to give it another go tonight and confirm.
There are 3 circles on the ground during the 10% phase which fill each time a meteor hits. When all 3 are filled you are boned (9999 dmg) otherwise Darnus' attack will hit for 2k. Have 1 BLM on each side focusing solely on the meteors and have the tank and dds run up to fight van darnus. The meteors have slightly more hp during this part but Thunder > Thundara > blizz should be more than enough to kill them everytime and recasts should be ready for the next meteor.
We had 1 meteor slip through and still only took 2k dmg so I'm assuming as long as you don't let 3 touch down you're golden. I was one of the blms for our run and didn't have any issue not letting any of my meteors touch the ground. The golems can be slept and sometimes they will deaggro (if slept) and even sleeping them seems not to get you primary hate on them.
OK, so that's probably what nailed us, the 2-3 fragments that slipped by. I'm still thinking that killing the golems shortens the duration of his fragment spam which would make it easier to guarantee none make contact.
Well I cant say for sure but i don't think that's correct. In one of our failed attempts we killed the golems immediately and had the blms burn meteors but didn't realize the tank/dd needed to go fight darnus up top and the meteors kept raining down until the blms ran out of mp and we died. So I'm fairly certain the length of that phase is based on his hp.
