Rofl Sono. Thanks ; ; Got invited to tour and have lunch at Valve too, prob do that next week. I'm like, an indentured servant now. When I get some time I will write up a story for BG. Most likely after the Valve thing, so I can take some pics and have that be part of the story too. I messaged my cosplay artist and should have some info on how she made my costume too.

It's just a ploy to get you to go there. When you do get there, they will promise you the world then lock you in a stasis chamber for eternity where you can be on display!

Seriously though, that is amazing! And a good cosplay to boot.

This is probably hugely impractical for most anyone to try, but I came across a pretty insane detailing of a person making a pair of long fall boots. They have a set of tags for documenting their own process and one for a DIY instruction on the little sidebar: http://raritarous.tumblr.com/tagged/long%20fall%20boots

The result is crazy fucking awesome but also seems like life-threatening dangerous somehow:

Honestly those look safer then Ballet boots and I've seen people walk in them all the time.
