But mainly because they were just announced for inclusion in the S&P500, meaning a ton of institutional investors and mutual funds and shit are going to buy them up to rebalance their index funds.
I'd like to know how much money he actually has in the bank.
the vast majority of his wealth, as it is with all these individuals, is in stocks
Sure but at a certain point this basically means limitless wealth. At any point whatever he wants he can leverage his imaginary wealth toward it and be awarded with his desires. He can even turn it into actual cash at the expense of temporarily reducing his imaginary numbers (which he can then raise again later).

Elon Musk about to beat Jeff Bezos for the #1 place:

Is there a logical reason anymore as to why Tesla stock keeps going up?
I mean...they keep expanding? They're opening up a factory in Berlin I think? The china one is roaring, they have another one being planned in India as well I think?
Their tech is also getting better, and manufacturing is getting more streamlined. They're balancing cost saving in manufacturing with just rapid expansion, and lately there have been a few quality issues being reported, but put it all together and they're hella valuable. They just turn over that cash and grow grow grow
And that's to say nothing of ICE being phased out. Especially with a state like California targeting 2035 on new ice bans. EV is the future, and Tesla was the first legit player to get their foot in the door and they're reaping the early rewards.

China is right behind Tesla too with so many EV manufacturers working on their own line of cars. I really hope American companies can stay competitive...excluding Tesla from the critique of course lol

That's mad late and hopefully it's as good as China's tech. Some companies solved the range problem by using replaceable batteries, and having battery stations be the new gas stations where a machine swaps out your battery for a charged one. The future is now boys!

Don't take automaker EV promises seriously until you see them building or contracting their own versions of gigafactories.
My biggest problem with "everyone will have electric cars" is that it tells everyone who doesnt have a house with a garage to go fuck themselves.
