Jensen Ackles looks too pretty to be Snake. Not gruff enough.

I like the Supernatural boys a lot, but I definitely don't think they have the acting chops to pull this off.
Hugh Jackman as Snake(s)
I was mostly kidding, but I don't really have high hopes for this movie anyways being a video game to movie dealie.
with our luck and the way movies been lately it's gonna be Robert Patison or Ryan Reynolds
I agree, Sylvester Stallone should play Solid Snake. Then we can have Dolph Lundgren play Liquid.
There we go, all star cast. I just hope Ocelot doesn't spend 12 minutes yelling at a chair.
We all know Will Smith is gonna get the role of Snake though.
I don't want an actor that just happens to look like Snake. I want a good actor.
Me, personally, I'd like to see Bryan Cranston take the title role. He may be old, but I think an older actor would be best. To me, Snake has always been like Clint Eastwood's character in Unforgiven.
Ryan reynolds plZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Metal Gears from space with 4 different body versions and Kirsten Dunst as Olga
Would be funny if they did a MGS1 movie and the codecs played out like in the game where the show them talking to each other. Would be much more clear that Miller is Liquid.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...rring-the-bossFinally, when asked about the Metal Gear movie he confirmed that he wouldn't be directing it. When pressed for a wish list, he name dropped Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino as directors and Ben Affleck, Hugh Jackman, and Tom Hardy as possible leads. This was just off the top of his head, though. None of these figures have actually been in talks about it.
There's Hideo input.
Funny thing is, I had thought of Tom Hardy before. But as Liquid because of the British accent and all. And Logan Marshall Green could clearly pull off a twin brother with Tom Hardy.
Logan wouldn't fit for me as Snake though....but damn they look alike.
Would love to see Tom Hardy as Liquid, I agree.
