GW2: Random Complaint Thread: Complaining about Complaints since day 1

So apparently this has been common knowledge for awhile. Last night we were screwing around before the match started in a tournament. Were just finding weird spots to climb up too, like behind the keep you can get pretty high on the rocks. Anyway, turns out if you are in the sliding motion that usually occurs when you can clearly jump onto a spot but it's not accessible, when the game begins, you will not be sent back to the starting area and instead will load right where you were in the sliding motion.

After a little playing around with it we found it you can do it pretty much anywhere if you time it right. Needless to say this is a pretty major bug for sPvP.

Human F and Charr are the coolest races for heavy sets by far imo. I love most sets.

Sadly, a lot of heavy armor is kinda meh. Though I wouldn't mind mixing and matching a few pieces together to try something.

The better looking heavy sets are human and charr cultural t3, norn is sort of close but its honestly like seeing a g-string when you play a female.

Asura cultural T3 is still my favorite heavy so far. Especially the head piece. Busted my bank good for it and am taking advantage of the Halloween craze to cash in some extra gold. Almost have enough for the shoulder piece now.

I have to agree with this. Too bad the full set for cultural is an arm and a leg.

It's not that bad of a grind, I almost have it all.

Just this week I've gotten almost 500 badges.

Unrelated but... pure stats, full mortal armor is probably better for a necro. The legs have prec/toughness/condition which with undead runes + the power/tough/vitality part of the set would bring your condition damage up to like 900ish without any real devotion to it, which is plenty imo. One day.. I'll buy those dolyak runes!

Armagadden helm/shoulders/legs, Auora gloves, Mortal chest/feet is what I'm wearing. So everything but chest/feet are giving me precision/toughness/cond damage, and that's because there is no karma gear that gives those stats.

How are you farming so many badges? I can go for hours, without hardly any dropping, even if I'm a lot of battles, getting loot bags.

I group with my guild a lot. I know it sounds silly, and those people at plinx swear by it, but it seems to work. I also spend a lot of time defending objectives, necros are pretty damn good at it, and a lot of my attacks are AoE. I remember one time I was defending bay with like 4 other people, our zerg was otw, I got to put down a lot of AoEs in the meantime. They roll through and wipe them out from the side in a split second and I instantly got about 10 loot bags, most of which contained badges. I'm not sure exactly what qualifies a person to drop a badge.. my guess would be they are of sufficient level and you did enough damage to them to be considered for a lootbag. There definitely seems to be a difference between killing a level 10 and a level 80 in regards to getting badges.

Oh and I also have had a lot of time to do the EB jumping puzzle lately, PRX is pretty good at fullcapping that place. You can get about 10-18 badges per in there, I don't know if its actually variable, I just know you can get a lot from it.
