[dev1485] Atomos now appears in the following areas:
Dragonhead, Coerthas Central Highlands
Emerald Moss, North Shroud
Crimson Bark, West Shroud
Black Brush, Central Thanalan
Horizon, Western Thanalan
[dev1486] Teleporting to the aetheryte camps listed below no longer costs anima. In addition, Atomos now behaves differently at these locations.
Camp Brittlebark, Mor Dhona
Camp Revenant's Toll, Mor Dhona
Camp Ever Lakes, Coerthas Central Lowlands
Camp Glory, Coerthas Eastern Lowlands
Camp Bluefog, Northern Thanalan

Item Type Description
Over-aspected Cluster Remedy A large, crystalline manifestation of aetheric energy exhibiting an extreme elemental charge. When released, the energy has been known to restore the corporeal and spiritual state of those otherwise incapacitated.

Known Issues

An issue wherein Return does not activate under certain circumstances.
* This issue can be circumvented by logging out once.
An issue wherein the weather does not display correctly in certain cutscenes.

So are there any lodestone history achievements for participating in the Atomos thing? I've been trying to hop on during the stupid live event for the imperial invasions but I can't seem to get on at the right time.

The Atomos thing was a part of the final 1.0 quest line leading to the Dalamud Horn, if I recall correctly. You have to kill some (1?) of the ghost/imp/skeleton mobs that spawn below him. Other than that, they just drop medicine items that boost attak/m.attack and whatnot.

Now that they're messing with shit, turning Aetheryte yellow and whatnot, it seems like Atomos might be more than that.

Horn is from doing Living on a Prayer (only prereq is beating Darnus I belive).

There's a quest for the Atomos thing from the taru outside the guild in Ul'dah, no achievement for it afaik.

It's a lodestone achieve, where it says you assisted X newspaper. Also gives you a "Interview with Cid" count.
