Also about this lag... I can't tell whether it's the current client or everyone around them. Possibly because of the quality of the stream...? Though I would hate to think these guys have a shit connection. -_-

I'm confused by this. Are they saying they're going to wipe everyone's gil past 100mil or are they dividing everyone's gil by 10 so relative wealth remains the same and we play with smaller numbers?

A: No. Any items over the 100 inventory limit will be transferred to a NPC. Players will be able to obtain their items by speaking to the NPC.

Reinheart translations:

Y: when you put item in the gear set it wont take up inventory space but right now it’s 200 inventory space but it will be reduced to 100 and you can get the remaining 100 from special NPC which will hold onto your remaining 100 items.
