You don't have to pick the scroll quest that the R is on. More will be below it, just have to manually click which one you want.

I just started playing the trial of the game and im having a couple issues that maybe someone can help me out with.

I'm playing in full screen at my tv's native resolution(1920x1080), but a lot of the ui is clipping off the edge/border of the screen. I edited the ui and moved what I could so things fit, but a lot of the ui is red and wont allow me to move it. Any idea how I can get everything to fit on screen?

Also, I'm playing a wizard with an xbox controller. I have fireball and the first ice move. Fireball activates by pressing down and x(left mouse click). The ice spell shows it activates by pressing shift and left mouse which is the trigger button and x. But pressing that activates my mana absorption move. How the hell do I cast the ice spell.

Dumb Question but are you using an HDMI cord to connect from PC to TV? I know with my older TV it clips about 1/4" on the sides.

Ice spell should be... RMB? I haven't played a witch yet but the ice auto attack spell should should be the RMB and direction keys to move while firing. I haven't plugged a controller in yet either :/

What about running it Full-Windowed, same clipping occurs?

What's everyone doing with their Loyalty points?

I've been debating what to spend my loyalty points on...
- Balenos, Calpheon, or Serendia Storage Slot +1
- Inventory Expansion Slot +1

I've got a ton of contribution funding storage houses at the moment (I'm a horder!!!) My logic behind buying the storage increase is so I can eventually swap my contribution from storage to workable buildings and free more up to invest in nodes around the world. Not sure if worth though~

On a side note, I've been pumping all my alts (6) and Mains excess energy into leveling up Cron Castle. I just hit level 7 (think it took almost 600 energy, I stopped counting.) The drop rates in combination with A/S ranks on mobs is insane... I think it will cap at level 10 but I'm really interested in seeing the drop rates then.

S rank is the only one that increases drops. Though I have no idea what A+ does.

Ive been hoarding my loyalty points. That drop rate buff item is key, Witch Scrolls/something. Lots if inventory expansion quests to go back to. Storage isnt hard, upgrade your housing levels.

So just an update, I went into full windowed and everything scaled perfectly. Not only that, but my frames went from 24, instantly to 60 and the game got much better looking too. Was able to put settings on high.

On a side note, what does investing energy into a plot of land do?

Investing in standard nodes gives more drops from mobs, farming nodes is A greater/HQ yield. Someone mentioned in cities at higher investment might be cheaper merchants/unlocks quests.

Really? Only S? That's disappointing, wish it wasn't just RNG based then, I have gotten A's on most of the Cron Castle folk... Kinda annoying that it's been doing nothing. Is there an S+? What's that do then?... I thought each letter grade would increase it by like .25% What do you think A+ does?

god, I hope not... I already have a questing~completionist issue... It's damn near impossible for me to ignore daily quests. I've cleaned so many chimneys and saved so many cats... The one guy at the Gate crossing from Velia to Heidel who asks for 2 logs to repair barricades can probably build a fortress with all the logs I've given him.

C gives you mob HP
B reduced your dmg taken
A increased their dmg taken
S increased drops

As far as knowledge rank goes, nobody knows definetly what each rank does WHEN it comes to loot drops. It's like ffxi TH before they changed it. I've heard 8 different things on the subject. I've heard A+, S, and S+ increase drops. I've heard only S, i've heard there is no S+, I've gotten S that is White, i've gotten S that is golden. I've gotten Green A's and Purple A's and Gold A's
=
Until Pearl Abyss or Daum give an offical statement, i take everything with a grain of salt, and don't personally reset it if its A+ or above.
