    looks interesting. nitpicking: it's "only" produced by del toro (amongst 3 others), director is the guy who did the short.

    Not a bad thing since the short nearly made me ruin my shorts

    I can't be the only one who finds "creepy kids" more comical than anything else.

    If GDT didn't direct/write, not going to watch. He needs to stop lending his name to all these guys to help them out lol.

    bumping this cause of dvd release and I did done just seen it.

    Pretty good for a horror film, especially since most "horror films" are just gory shock stuff now.
    I'd recommend it.

    A few things didn;t make sense to me though, like:
    Spoiler: show
    why exactly the psychiatrist went looking for the ghost and wasn't thinking he'd die horribly;
    why Jaime Lannister's dead brother appeared to him in a dream under a bridge; I assume to get him to the cabin, but why not show him the cabin instead of the bridge? and why send him anyways because he didn't have any way to pacify the ghost.
    And why the old lady thought she could find evidence of child abuse in the middle of the night when everyone should have probably been asleep
    And the movie's ending just made me wish I knew how the aftermath was handled. Psychiatrist is dead, the person who Jaime Lannister was in legal disputes with is dead, and now one of the children is missing.

    So, yeah... watched it... pretty lame, imo.

    "Borrowing" from a dozen other films, repeating the same gag over and over, plot threads danglin' er'rywhere, showing the damn ghost in plain view so much that it becomes comedic... FIRST RULE OF HORROR, DIPSHITS: NOTHING IS SCARIER.

    Go play Fatal Frame 2, instead. It did everything this did, but better.

    I still say it was one of the better more recent horror movies if you aren't looking for ridiculous gore.
    I thought it was definitely better than Sinister and Insidious (I thought the first half of Insidious was great, but the rest of it dragged the whole movie down).

    Oh god, this. Second half of insidious was a giant joke, I couldn't take it seriously any more. Pretty sure they meant to into a comedy ala cabin in the woods.

    Not gonna argue with that, but it's kinda like praising bad food for tasting better than donkey shit.
