GW2: Update Notes Thread

Logging into the leaderboards gives you your percentile now, in 10% increments (will get to 1% increments as the data flows). I'm currently 90/90 for both PvP and achievements and not on either board... /wrists.

I would have thought that way less people played sPvP tbh. 90% percentile not being in the top 1000 means there are more than 10k qualifying players. Who knew.

People are only now actively spvping because they can see their position relative to others. tourney wins never meant much with QP and no one bothered/had tickets to do 8 team tourneys which were just shit if you got placed against a good team. you gotta take into account the 20ish servers for NA? and even if only maybe 5% of each of those servers populations do pvp, its still alot of players.

Custom arenas and spectator mode for April 30th. Living Story dungeon crap as well that hopefully doesnt suck

One you’ve decided to spectate a game, you can then click on a player’s name in order to follow them, or you can click on one of the camera icons on the mini-map.
When you’re following a player, you can click on the icon next to their name to see their template, which lists their amulet, their traits, their slotted skills and their weapons!

Its a shame it took so long to get in but I'm pretty pumped about it. I'm one of those losers who gets a lot of enjoyment out of things like DOTA streams.

Yeah, those are in no way capes. They look more like the Soldier's Buff Banner from TF2.

Yeah, nice try by the designers but not my kind of thing - looks too much like a broom handle stuck in your posterior. Plus no leaning back in your chair, lol.

I'd wear a cape but can see the difficulty with clipping which I think is why they removed them.

Long Hair and/or bulky shoulder armor make capes a nightmare.
