Why do I see naked flesh in that Banana Ketchup photo?
I like fishing and am ok at it. The only thing I can't do is cook/gut/skin the fish. Even though I was taught how to do it, I just can't do it myself. Now, Cast Away, Walking Dead, Revolution status and I'd do it, but FUCK IT FOR NOW.
Learn to make some pasta, it's just flour and egg and can store at room temperature for months, pasta rollers are only 20 bucks at bed bath and beyond and I'm sure you can find cheaper elsewhere. Use oil, butter, or ketchup to top it, take a bunch of ketchup packets from fast food places every time you pass one, or the student center at your school.
Assuming that this is the Ruby's Diner chain, there's two of them by my workplace, but naturally, that's an hour south of you; I don't know if there are any in the valley, but there could be. Let's see...
There's one in Woodland Hills, according to their website.
I've never been. I've heard people say that they're all right, but that the best thing they have on offer is really their stuffed French Toast. I don't know if I could handle that.
ya that's the one. I like their shakes. The cool thing about the one in oceanside in particular is this:

So you're mostly going for the view. Otherwise their burgers are pretty standard. They remind me of Johnny Rockets. I've never had the french toast. D:
If you want a similar view, but wouldn't mind Mexican food instead, you could always visit the Santa Monica pier.
nice. I'm all for mexican food (except the salsa here)
They wont' give you too many here lol. They keep them behind the counter
clearly not from kansas, I remember literally trying a string and a hook to a random stick, putting a bit of bread on the hook and catching shit when we were like 7 years old lol
fishing is actually easy, the only remotely hard part is finding where shit will bite
anyway, some stuff you can do with skillet...
if you don't care about health, anything can be breaded and fried in like a quarter inch of oil and come out decent, from proper fish/chicken/chicken fried steak to mushrooms, cauliflower, etc. and some ranch to dip it in
for flavor...
scrambled eggs, chop up some onions and green peppers, toss on some pepper and garlic powder, a touch of cock sauce, some salt if you want, and then the kicker, about a half a bottle of beer for every 3-4 eggs
for some basic stir-fry you can do some beef or chicken, big chunks of peppers and onions, bit of soy sauce, some teriaki if you like, when everything's done dump in rice or noodles (ramen will work even) and a single egg, if you consider yourself a decent cook you can start messing with like some sherry or sauces, add in some pineapple, touch of cayenne, etc.
you can also do a decent beef strogeno... gh? ... strokin off. Just cook up some cheap beef, dump a can of cream of mushroom soup and sour cream in there, and serve it over noodles (preferably egg noodles but whatever works)
that's all I got off the top of my head.
2nding that hormel chili is THE SHIT tho
edit: actually that reminds me... you can make your own good, easy chili in there too
cook up pound of beef, season it thoroughly, personally I like some ancho chili pepper for the meat
2 cans of chili beans
can of chopped/diced tomatoes
whole onion chopped small
about a third of a green pepper chopped small (too much and you'll make it bitter)
about 2 tablespoons of chili powder, to taste
personally I either do 1 tablespoon normal chili powder 1 tablespoon ancho, or just do full normal and use the ancho for seasoning the beef
you can also do a basic cheese dip, cook up half pound or a pound of beef, mix with 1 big stick of velveeta and 1 can of rotel and you're golden
all that shit making me hungry lol while I eat this tuna salad and crackers it reminded me that I'd eat a can of albacore straight-up for lunch sometimes to mix things up. Probably a nice serving of mercury to go along with the protein, but it's a nice grab if you can ever catch those 4-packs on sale.
Take an apple, and slice it into wedges, maybe half an inch thick, coat them in cinnamon and sugar and toss it on a the griddle on high heat, if you have some kind of skewer it works better.. let cook for a min or two and flip.. it makes for a great snack..
Pitch in and buy him diablo 3! no sub fee and ok to rmah!
i actually have d3, got it from my tour of the blizzard campus 4 free, lol. My net sucks too hard to play it though, death all day erryday
need to see some more pics of new CS skillet meals
Had some free lunch at school today but couldn't eat it there since I was fasting. Hispanic day or something so they had beans and rice + pork and bread. Ended up getting seconds when they still had food at the end. Brought it all home, threw it on the skillet to re-warm it up and ate that tonight
