That's... less uncommon than you probably think. After my sister died in a car crash couple of years ago I visited a few websites set up for e-memorials and other sites where people talk about their bereavement but left pretty quick. There's a LOT of people who post pictures of stillbirths (this I can still sort of understand) and miscarried fetuses (yeah no when it doesn't even look human yet can't unsee aggh) dressed in little angel clothes or similar on the internet these days and yes some keep them around if their country/hospital has allowed them to take them home. It's a way to deal with grief I guess but call me old-fashioned, some things should just be kept private and jfc if they're such little angels then at least give them a decent burial as your religion dictates.

Hey now it's a good website set up with good intentions for setting up e-memorials for servicemen and -women killed in action which then evolved into a memorial site for other young people. But like all things on the internet it's just been taken over by, well, everybody. So it's got everything from grannies to fetuses last I looked and it's a depressing place to go to once you're over your initial grief so I don't recommend it. You will actually have to browse a bit to come across anything too weird.
