Cooperation with the acclaimed Swedish punk rock formation involves writing, recording, and producing an EP featuring the greatest hits of SAMURAI, with creative direction provided by CD Projekt Red’s composer team headed by Marcin Przybyłowicz. Tracks born from the partnership include ones both heavily inspired by the original source material, as well as original tracks created by the band exclusively for Cyberpunk 2077.
“I’m incredibly excited about having Refused on board for Cyberpunk 2077,” said Marcin Przybyłowicz, Music Director, CD PROJEKT RED. “I know for a fact there are a lot of fans of the band at the studio, including Piotr Adamczyk, one of the composers working on the game, who came to me with the idea for this collaboration. I’m very happy he did, because the massive riffs, powerful drums, and hard-hitting vocals the guys from Refused deliver as SAMURAI have blown me away,” added Przybyłowicz. “I can wholeheartedly say the punk factor of Cyberpunk 2077’s music is through the roof!”
“Like us, SAMURAI is a group of rebels, albeit in a different time and place,” said Dennis Lyxzén, Lead Vocalist of the band Refused. “Working together with CD Projekt Red, writing music and song lyrics for Cyberpunk’s chrome rock icon was fun, but also very different in the creative sense. It was an unexpected challenge that turned out to be right up our alley and really got us going. The songs turned out great and the game looks insane,” added Lyxzén.
Gamers worldwide already got a taste of Refused’s work for CD Projekt Red’s upcoming open world, action adventure story, with SAMURAI’s Chippin’ In concluding the for the game. Today, to celebrate the announcement, SAMURAI’s iconic track has been made available across select digital stores and streaming services.
Holy shit that’s fucking bad ass, Refused has put out one album in what, 20 years?

Afterlife TCG Announced - 2020
We’re excited to announce Cyberpunk 2077 - Afterlife: The Card Game, a standalone physical card game created in collaboration with an international board game publisher CMON!
Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game thrusts players into the dark alleyways of Night City, where ruthless gangs clash with corporations in an endless war for money, power, and control.
In the game, you become Fixers — databrokers and masterminds of Night City. Your job is to recruit cyberpunks, equip them with gear, and send them out on missions. Each successful mission raises your Street Cred, with mission survivors becoming Veterans, imparting their knowledge and experience to newer recruits. In this chrome-infused world, Street Cred is the only currency that matters.
And nothing comes cheap in Night City. You need to balance between what you want and what you can actually afford. Using an innovative drafting mechanic and special dashboard, you must decide which cards you want to buy, and which to sacrifice for funds in order to purchase new ones.
Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game will be released in 2020.

After much protest, players will no longer be able to choose male or female for their character. Instead the game will have you choose the body type as the starting point.
“And our character creation menu, compared to the last demo, we now give you so many more options,” says Jonkers. “For instance, you don’t choose a gender anymore. You don’t choose, ‘I want to be a female or male character’ you now choose a body type. Because we want you to feel free to create any character you want.”
Jonkers also confirms the game will let players customize their character’s skin tone, hairstyle, tattoos, and style choices among other changes. Additionally, the character customizer lets players mix and match male and female voice options.
“We just wanna know what we can improve on because we want to make a really good game and we really wanna make a game that everyone is comfortable playing,” continues Jonkers. “But at the same time, we’ll tackle difficult issues. It is a cyberpunk world after all.”
"After much protest" and what the article states as "Following some criticism" sound like different levels of impact to me. Regardless, chalk up a tally point for SJW I guess.
I mean, it shouldn't really matter much for your average player. At least depending on how they handle others referring to your character now.
