I don't know why people are surprised, it's a video game movie, about a game with a convoluted plot full of asspulls that never really even goes anywhere

Yeah who coulda known that spending 70% of the movie in a shitplot future will ruin the movie
So it's like an AC game then. Real world stuff is fucking stupid as shit while the past stuff is the good shit.
Last I checked RT, 34 reviews in 21%
Hoo boy Magneto couldn't save this one huh?
101 reviews and it's at 20% on RT. I think we're done here folks...
between this and warcraft we're done again with video game movies
good
Just saw this movie - didn't think it was as bad as reviews say. If you played and like the game(s), then there a good chance you'll like this film.
Fuck the haters, I liked warcraft as a fantasy movie. I hope they give it the sequel it needs.
Saw it tonight. New next to nothing but the premise. Just copped AC3 from the free Ubisoft weekend thing and enjoying it.
It's decent. If you like the game, you'll like the movie. If you like the premise, you'll like the movie. I personally don't think it was advertised to be a Box-Office smash and it doesn't feel like they even aimed for that. It's a good ride though.
edit: I also like Warcraft and knew next to nothing about it besides the fact that it shared the same name as a video game that was out when I was playing FFXI and Aion.
It costs 125 mil, so with that kinda budget it was definitely expected to do better then it is.
Same story with Warcraft, it in no way justified the cost and i sincerely doubt we'll ever see a sequel.
I wonder what's cheaper, that buttload of cgi or costumes and masks mixed with camera tricks for the next Warcraft movie.
Just got back from this, debated between Passenger and this for a pure popcorn flick. I enjoyed it. Definite plot holes, but overall an enjoyable movie experience.
yeaaaa fuck the haters this was pretty good for what it was, the action was top notch.
Still a chance. The sequel went into development already and is set to be during the Cold War.
The director had an interview about a week ago where he stated that this film is the origin story. While the past will play a role in future films, they will focus more on a modern day assassin.
