I said this before and will say it again, glad I live in the west coast. California love baby! I'll take a quake over a hurricane any day.

i get that but what do harvests have to do with it
wonder if the dire predictions so far ahead are any result of the lack of reporting and subsequent jailing of the earthquake scientists in Italy? plus now is the time of year why I love living in Arizona, have fun with that storm lol

so in the past 9 hours, it seems more and more computer models are putting its landfall between CT+Delaware, which means lots of fun for the northeast down to the mid-atlantic!
if I miss work next week due to storms, well that'd be just dandy
For the past decade they've been overestimating hurricanes, the last one we got was supposed to be pretty bad, and all the stores were crazy with every one buying supplies. They canceled school, and every one was freaking out about the big hurricane.
We got half a day of rain, some lulzy wind, and a couple trash cans fell over. So over the overestimating of hurricanes.
I live in CT and last year for Halloween we had a damn blizzard. Poor kids, this'll be 2 years in a row of a snowy Halloween!
Also, I'm going to a conference in Boston for Sunday-Tuesday, I was hoping to have nice weather while I was visiting up there
Salodin speaks truth, every Nor Easter and huge storms we have always been forecasted have turned out to be duds, and do nothing but cause profit for battery powered devices and bottled water.
Looks like a couple good days of surf, I'm excited
Convinced I'm screwed.
Hurricane Irene took out half the trees that broke the massive wind gusts that come directly from the ocean/bay, through the golf course, and smack the face of my house.
And then, in a show of brilliance, the golf course cut down the remaining trees (which also stopped golf balls from slamming into the house... one window down so far!).
So now there's practically a clear shot of wind coming straight from the ocean into the side of my 70y/o, two-story house.
