HAHA holy shit, hilarious.

like ERB says to Mitt "its a country not a company that you can play like monopoly" even from a cross the pond i can see places with risks of hurricanes and flooding need these defenses you'd think as a businessman he'd understand the safer people feel the more likely they'll want to vote for him
LMAO! Michael Brown says Obama is moving too fast with his relief efforts. This fucking guy talked about benghazi and hurricane Sandy in the same sentence.
Can we keep is thread to about sandy and not the two people who 99.99% of the north east could give a shit about right now. put that shit in the political threads.
In good news, some stop lights came back on when I turned around. Parts of Lynbrook and rockvile centre both have power. I saw some LIPA trucks out for the first time as well. Guess the wind slowed down to the point where they can start doing some work on the lines. Funny thing is when I went out to see my dad this morning I was one of maybe 15 cars on the road. Now its like a normal day... I think I am going to stay put till more lights come on to much action on the roads for so few stop lights.
Hope everyone is okay and staying safe.
Looking at the destruction reminds me of the tornado that came through here last year.
Calling out of work for the week and going to my friend's in Prospect Park, booze and gaming fest until the power is back on.
Also, all the Indian cabbies are having a field day with the whole "No traffic lights for 40 blocks" thing.
Got to my office in record time, dude was bobbing and weaving through traffic like a monster.
That's the Spirit Zeto you have fun in what others call a disaster
My office on 44th street is expecting all employees in tomorrow. Got a bunch of people carpooling in from NJ/CT so it'll look bad if I don't at least make an attempt to show up. lol
This isn't the first major natural disaster I've been through. Positive spin keeps you rolling. People are resilient and we'll get through it. Being negative only works for the first few hours.
@Kuro - I have the same thing, only I'm in the office now and my boss told me to leave before his bosses show up.
Spoiler: show
MTA still not saying when they're opening up everything, at least the bridges are back up!
