Logged in to see what was going on today. Found a bunch of people in Ul'dah praying at at Doomvoid Scamp (Imp) that was appearently not being affected by the prays.

Well this is utterly boring, I said. So I buffed up and pulled that shit right in the middle of everyone. I hope I got some people killed. Yawn. Logged out.

I've been watching everyone /pray at the mobs and have seen quite a few Lv.80~90+ things just keel over and die from full HP. Not sure how it's working at all and I wouldn't be surprised if they are only dying because Atomos has a cap on how many minions he can spawn.

This...is a fantastic idea. Last three days, turn reviving off, have it be one giant game of hide and go kill. Whoever's left at shutdown gets some rare/ex stuff. Brilliant.

I've only seen:

Malboros, Buffalos, Golems, Khimeras, Imperials, Nael Van Darnii, Elementals, Ahriman, Treants, Vanguards, Drakes, Demons, Skeletons, Zombies, Ghosts, and Ogres... I think.

Pretty much just Imperials + the usual Atomos minions + all the endgame dungeon bosses + greenwrath.

Today a GM showed up, told people to pray at the same time for the gods to hear them. The GM proceeded to walk around and insta-raise people followed by giving the players 15 or so buffs AOE style (10minSS, 10min atk+, etc). After that he went invisible and started casting DOOM on people, only way to stop it was to /pray to the person with the countdown timer. While invisible he started spawning hordes of lvl 30-ish monsters and continued for a while with many other shenanigans.

I quit this game like last year, and now I've a question.

Let me see if I got this right; The game is being remade, so to end the first game they just let the world perish, and then release the new game called "A Realm reborn"?

Is the new game at least free...?
