Map reveal in small chunks is nice.
Map fills in as you explore. There are achievements for filling them in.
The current graphics you see is at the highest settings.

Wow, the highest? And it's so smooth and well running...
No special Crafter/Gatherer only content as crafting/gathering is in-essence content in itself. Housing and Free-Company crafting will be things Crafters/Gatherers can do.
Well, I suppose with the change to making materia and overall stat boosts less effective (they did say that at one point, didn't they?) I think this is a pretty fair change.
Retainer system will incorporate AH elements. More revealed in Beta.
