Like, what the fuck is wrong with people. This was a small, stupid token gesture that acknowledged that the US led the world on rights for the disabled, and now it's a political farce. This is why the world hates us.

I have no idea what was in the bill, but let's say it was a "Everyone's Universal Right to a House Treaty," which has been considered before. If we decide everyone has a right to a house, we then force people to either build homes against their will, or pay for homes against their will.
Giving people rights that force other to people to involuntarily do things are rights in label only.
